Hotel well located

Good value for money, the bedding is good. One negative, the noise, you hear everyone in the hallways and you get the impression that every guest is showering in your bathroom.

Avoid this hotel. The first issue is the excessive city tax. I was charged €9.31 per night but yours could be €15 (more than 4star rate which is 8.45€) with no explanation. For the level of service and comfort provided, the charges are difficult to justify.
There is no fan. The room was unbearably hot. The windows open, constant noise from other guests, a busy main road, cigarette smoke, and light coming in all night.
The mattress is badly worn, can not support. The pillows are old, and misshapen. I woke up with headaches due to the heat and poor sleep.
The shower room is tiny. The inside of the shower door was dirty, and there is very little space practical to hang clothes, no place for toliteries and its dark inside. Within hours of arriving I developed skin rashes. I cannot confirm the cause, but the room was not insect-proof.
The hallways are extremely dark. I had to use my phone flashlight to unlock my room door. The staircases and common areas do not look like the photos online, which appear outdated.
I was told my room would be on the first floor, but on arrival I was told no first-floor rooms were available. Messages sent through Hotels.com were ignored, emails were never answered, and staff will pretend they can't speak english within seconds after speaking perfect english, were unhelpful when concerns were raised.
The room lighting is very dim, the soap was poor quality, dirty buttons, handles, bed, and the overall experience was uncomfortable and stressful.

This hotel is significantly not as advertised- it is like a hostel. We booked for a room with private bathroom, when we arrived we were told it is shared bathrooms and showers on upper floor- which is not what I had booked and paid for. I am a girl in my early twenties, I felt extremely unsafe so we left within 20 minutes of checking in to find another hotel which was of course really stressful trying to find somewhere so last minute in the evening. The room was tiny, the whole place had an unpleasant smell also no lifts here very old fashioned. The pictures do not show this at all - very false advertisement really bad experience.

Don't spend your money at this hotel that isn't one. At this price you have hotel chain hotels with much better services.
