Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. Great location. Staff were so friendly. Room was spacious with all usual amenities. Bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom as well with blow dryer. I didn't have breakfast there but you can get food from outside and sit at the breakfast area and eat which is what I did. And you can have coffee or tea anytime even if breakfast isn't included in your booking. Breakfast looked to have all your usual options like baked goods, cheese, fruits, coffee etc. There are so many restaurants and bakeries nearby. Definitely you cannot beat this location. There is a convenient store nearby as well. Also we used the Big Bus tour and it is about 20 mins walk from the hotel to the bus stop. So that was also convenient. Overall a great experience. I definitely recommend this place.

Poor experience in Hotel Pax Hotel

On my first day of check in the hotel, the front desk staff said we can enjoy the coffee and pastries for breakfast as free. If need to take the buffet breakfast then need to pay €15.
However, when we pick some pastries on the third day morning, one of the front desk staff told us that we could not take the pasties. I said when we checked in another staff said I could enjoy the free pastries; then he insisted that we were wrong and explained that in poor attitude.
I will filed a complaint to the manager of this hotel and not recommended to take this hotel.

Very good

Well, it may not look like much, but the hotel is clean. The rooms are small but very pretty and very clean, with a super pleasant welcome.
You won't have a view of the Eiffel Tower, but surely a wall :) , but it's sufficient for sleeping and just 2 minutes from the "Cadet" metro station.

Worst experience of my life - read full review

We had a very bad experience at this hotel, and it seriously affected our trip. We chose it because it was central and pet-friendly, and the booking clearly stated that dogs were allowed for 15 euros per dog. I even contacted the hotel in advance to confirm that traveling with my two dogs would cost 30 euros per day, but they ignored my first email and only replied after more than two weeks, confirming the price.
However, at check-in, the receptionist suddenly claimed they only accept one dog per room. This was not clearly stated anywhere in the booking information or on the hotel website. After I showed them my emails, they reluctantly accepted the situation and charged the extra fee. The room they gave us was poor, noisy, dirty, and badly located. The air conditioning stopped working, the room became extremely hot, and on the second night the bed broke in the middle of the night.
We complained, but the solutions were minimal: they fixed the AC by pressing a central button, which made it clear it had simply been turned off, and offered a very basic breakfast and late checkout. To make things worse, a staff member spent the day shouting in the corridors and arguing with people. The hotel is dirty, outdated, and far below the standard of a 3-star property. We deeply regret staying here and hope Booking.com helps make this review visible so other guests can avoid the same experience.

Cher monsieur,
nous sommes désolé du malentendu qui a eu lieu, notre collègue vous a juste donné le tarif par chien qui est effectivement de 15 euros par jour( tarif affiché ).
il est possible que votre mail soit passé dans les courriers indésirables car nous nous efforçons de répondre à tous nous clients.
l' hôtel PAX est situé au centre de Paris et à proximité de monuments et de rues très vivantes où vous trouvez des restaurants , des cafés ainsis que beaucoup de boutiques, il est localisé près des Galleries LAFAYETTE.
L'air conditionné fonctionne très bien et l' hôtel est un hôtel très propre, je vous invite à lire les commentaires des clients passés.
