Great location, close to the metro. Very friendly staff, amazing view from the balcony, clean room, and the air-conditioning was a definite plus in late July. Will definitely stay here again.

Charming hotel in great location with

Stylish hotel in a great location for the catacombs and eateries. The room was small but pleasant - but it was too hot in the heat wave: the fan provided wasn’t really sufficient. Otherwise good value and comfortable.

This hotel is beautifully situated right in front of a Metro station, so it was easy to get downtown. To get to the registration desk, one had to walk up a narrow flight of 25 stairs, with luggage. But then to get to the 8th floor where our room was, we used the 3x3 foot square elevator, which was sufficient for our need. Florent, who worked the front desk for most of the time we were there, was incredibly helpful and friendly! He helped us with directions, and even went above and beyond to help us with our new Metro pass. We would go back there, if only to chat with him again! Our view of the city was outstanding from our room. The room was very small, but we didn't stay in there long as we spent our time seeing Paris. Thank you, Florent, for making our stay at the Lion so much more pleasant!
