Nice, straightforward hotel on river front. Free parking on opposite side of the road. Arrive after 3:30pm for check in. Restaurants about 5 mins walk. Nice cosy room with river view, and simple breakfast, with boiled eggs made to order. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Great value. Recommended. Note, Womens Tour de France leaving from Macon 5 August 2026.

Very good experience
Very good experience. Comfortable and clean bedding. Excellent breakfast with a variety of quality products; I particularly enjoyed the organic soft-boiled farm egg. I highly recommend it.

4 days holiday on the French Riviera and back
Both people at the reception are extremely nice! We had just returned from a week of vacation where we stayed in three different three star hotels.In Macon I was very disappointed despite the gnetillesse of these two people. The room more than any, not possible to open the windows.The bedding a little bruised. For breakfast, place a little cramped and not very varied (comparisons compared to the other two hotels.

La seule chambre ne permettant pas l'ouverture de la fernêtre est située au ré de chaussée. Ceci a pour but de vous assurer une sécurité optimale. Sur demande nous vous donnons les clés.
Nous vérifirons la literire de cette chambre.
Le petit déjeuner offre un choix en petite quantité déjà proportionnée pour permettre de présenter plus de produit dans ce petit espace effectivement .
Merci pour l'équipe de souligner leur service et la propreté.

Not a 4-star!
Not a 4-star. Hellish noise as soon as you leave the hotel which fortunately is perfectly soundproofed. No service. Superior room sad but large and clean. Suitable bathroom. Breakfast more than modest... a 3 star maximum.

No possibility of contact with a manager
An error in the date of my reservation (the site is not very well done because you can not have the price of the different types of room without starting from scratch and indicating again the dates) resulted in a payment of the room for no-show. During a first telephone exchange with the "receptionist", the latter indicated that she could not do anything and advised to send an email, which I have. After a few days I did not reply, I called back; the "receptionist" replied that my email had not been received and invited me to send another one, which I did. In this email, as in my oral exchanges, I did not dispute my mistake and only asked what the price would be to book a room on the date originally desired, to see if a commercial gesture, even modest, was made. After 3 days (!!) the answer arrived:
"Your request has been forwarded to our management. Unfortunately our management considers ... non-cancellable , non-refundable". Three days for an anonymous "management" not even to answer my question. An A.I. would seem more human. My misapprehension is not caused by the non-reimbursement, which is actually contractual, but by the absence of a responsible interlocutor.
