Room was basic but clean. Staff were helpful. although the checking in time was 3 pm as our room was ready well before 3 pm we were allowed to check in early.
The hotel provides breakfast only. No other meal is provided.
Will go back again.

Unbearable sewer smell – dirty room and hotel to avoid

The stay at the Majestic in Lourdes was a real nightmare. The room was old, poorly maintained and dusty everywhere, from beds to furniture.
The bathroom was simply unlivable: a sewer stench from the toilet so strong that it spread throughout the room, making it impossible to even sleep, brush your teeth or shower. The shower is tiny, much smaller than the photos show, and after just 5 minutes of using it it begins to leak water. The stench of the sewer was so intense it made her vomit.
The reception is also dirty, poorly maintained and full of dust, giving a general impression of total neglect. Breakfast was bad, poor and with very little assortment.
The asking price is unjustified: you pay for an old, smelly and dirty room. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel given my experience

I chose this hotel for 2 nights as it was quite close to the Grotto and the Lourdes train station/ bus stop to the airport. I guess I got what I paid for.
I went during 30degC- super hot! When I entered the room, there was a foul smell with a hint of cigarette smell infused in it. We had to keep the windows open for some time to air out the room. The room overall was okay- it did the job for 2 nights. It was quite dusty, and the bathroom didn’t look very clean. There was no air con- just a small bedside fan. And in that heat, you definitely need an air con to have a comfortable sleep. The staffs were pleasant and breakfast was good too. If you’re there for one night and don’t want to spend a lot of money on your stay, then this is the place. I was only a 15 min walk to the grotto, and 10 min to the station. There were local shops nearby too.
Overall, thank you for having us. We enjoyed seeing Lourdes but I don’t think I will be back to Majestic.

We were passing through and just needed a place stay overnight. The bed could use a change out but sheets and towels were clean. The area isn’t the cleanest but seemed safe enough.

Near the train station and close to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, staff are great. Other than that the rest are not good.
Very old building, tiny room, you can hear people talking on the hallway even if they just talk normal. Squeaking floors, no A/C, elevator is too tiny, only one person with luggage can fit. I don't know how people can survive there during the summer season or hot days, I won't stay there for sure. There's no amenity there. I will not recommend this.
