Peace and quiet and fabulous breakfast amongst beautiful countryside

We stayed 4 nights at La Commanderie in the rooms which had a kitchen and ‘sun-room’. Though the kitchen was just functional, the bedroom and bathroom were exemplary. What makes Le C so special, though, is the welcome from the hostess and the incredible breakfast spread she lays on. Keeps you full all day! With home made jams, yoghurt and compotes. Really superb. The area is so peaceful, with just the swallows flying around and the river Crequoise gurgling by. We spent hours just reading and relaxing in the garden on sun beds.
The area - 7 vallées - is full of local produce and undulating countryside, with only a tractor for company. If you want a quiet, relaxing break, you cannot go wrong. Great for hiking and cycling, too.

Brilliant Stay

Just returned from a long weekend at La Commanderie. Owner is such a lovely host, we were made to feel welcome from start to finish. Nice outdoor space too, we sat by the side of the river in the evening to eat and have a glass of wine.
Excellent breakfast and great location. Will definitely return.
Set in a lovely area with lovely beaches and the lovely town of Montreuil.

Un charmant havre de paix

Un super accueil dans un cadre idéal pour se reposer. Le cadre est bucolique, au milieu de la verdure, au calme. Idéal pour se reposer. Marie-Hélène est très soucieuse de la qualité du séjour de ses hôtes. Elle connaît parfaitement sa région et est toujours prête à donner de bons conseils. Son petit-déjeuner, composé de produits locaux, est parfait pour les gourmands . Je recommande chaleureusement
