Great value for money

We "stay" almost every month at this hotel after having done several in the area: it is for us the best!
Very nice staff, room of a very decent size, small bathtub with glass wall (not the curtains that stick to you!!) and breakfast well provided (scrambled eggs and bacon, pastries, yogurt, 2 juices available etc...

Basic, small, and spartan. But mostly clean and maintained. Steep stairs to the upper twin beds.

Big disappointment

We had received an email with a reservation number to use in case of late arrival. When we arrived, the bollard was out of Service... On the door, a note indicated to go to the hotel next door. What use is this number received by email, if not to create confusion?
At the front desk of the hotel next door, the receptionist admitted to having made an error on our reservation (which was already prepaid through Hotels.com). As a result, we had to repay the room on site. She simply told us that “Hotels.com should reimburse us.” Normally it happens like this ... It is not normal: it is up to the hotel to manage its error with the site, not the customer to do the steps.
The breakfast was another disappointment. When we arrived at 8:40, there was only one choice of tea, when we ask for a mint tea for example, we are offered a mint lime! the fruits offered were only a few very damaged apples at the bottom of a basket, and no other alternative. She told us more when we noticed. Is that normal? No more bacon either... we didn’t highlight it because we didn’t have 3 refusals. At this price, it is not acceptable.
We stayed at the nearby ACE Hotel: Much Better Welcoming, Comfort and Service. We're not coming back here.

After a 6 hour car journey the room was clean and tidy but the toilet did not work until we left in the early morning

We came last night for 3 people impeccable bed however for me entered the bathtub not obvious because very hurt my leg but this a small flat not serious very well taken next door because I have to wear a mask apnea I recommend this hotel nice breakfast we will come back however we have only two towels not serious
