Every visit this gite complex grows in facilities and the views are remarkable!
This is a place of peace, quiet and total comfort. Each visit it is updated with new facilities and comfort. The views are stunning and there is always wildlife to enjoy as well as the calming sounds of the river. The hosts are ever friendly and helpful, the best! It is a place we intend to back to again and again, central as it is in this area of many delights, walks, markets, Cathar Castles, wild swimming, wild life, wine tasting, peace and tranquility. Close enough for a day at the sea, skiing, Perpignan, Carcassonne, the Spanish border. It is right in the centre between the majestic Mountains of Canigou and Bugerach, two of the most spiritual mountains in the French Pyrenees. Every village has interesting walks with extensive views, especially Fosse itself.

Stunning Gite Complex with River Sounds, Magnificent Views and the Best Hosts!
We have returned to the most delightful holiday oasis imaginable. Moulin de Perle grows more beautiful each year as the stone houses and pink French roofs are maintained to the highest standard. Tree houses, river frontage, views of the foothills of the Pyrenees and comfortable gites. We have stayed in two of them and everything was provided for our comfort, creatively modernised and stylish. It is in the centre of a fascinating region of France with lots to explore: cycling and walking trails in the most unspoilt countryside; exciting wildlife to watch, photograph and enjoy; wild water rafting; wine tasting; raw nature to connect with and find tranquility and the adventure of the unexpected; many characterful places to eat; markets and Vide Greniers to enjoy; Cathar Castles and a well preserved Roman Aqueduct; It is close to the high Pyrenees and the Spanish border and just being in this Catalan region is a totally different experience. Stuart and Kate are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about the area and make a big effort to make sure everyone enjoys themselves.

Everything you need
Stuart and Kate were very friendly and helpful and will really go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. We arrived in the evening and had no groceries so Kate cooked a delicious lasagna for us! They also know all the secret little spots in the neighbourhood, like the enormous free public swimming pool (just ten minutes walk from Moulin de Perle) and the secret viewpoints, waterfalls and pools in the vicinity. We stayed in their 2-person accomodation, La Terrasse, which is a seperate little house. It has everything you need for your perfect holiday in France: of course a bed and a bathroom but more important a good kitchen and a huge terrace with a view over the cosy green valley. Highly recommended!

Excellent WE au Moulin de Perle
Kate est une hôte adorable très accueillante : elle donne des idées de visites et de balades dans son joli coin des Pyrénées Orientales. Le gîte “la Bergerie” est très propre et très fonctionnel. Très agréable séjour dans un environnement paisible. Je recommande vivement !!

Relax total
Se compone de diversas estancias aisladas con diferentes capacidades, todas con lo necesario para pasar unos fantásticos días de relax. La ubicación es muy buena para quien busca aislarse pero con grandes poblaciones cerca. Bonitos paisajes con buenas rutas para hacer excursiones y excelentes pistas para running. Zona de viñedos. El matrimonio propietario es muy amable y atento. La casa donde estuvimos era muy agradable con una chimenea muy buena, nos hizo mucho frío y calentó rápidamente la casa. Habitaciones y baño muy bien. Muy recomendable!
