Hôtel Classeco is located in Évry city centre, a 20-minute walk from the Évry Cathedral and a 3-minute walk from Le-Bras-de-Fer Train Station, which provides direct access to the centre of Paris. It offers guest rooms with free WiFi and a private bathroom. A buffet breakfast with hot drinks, cereals and pastries is served every morning. Sitauted only a short walk from Evry Technical Research Centre, the hotel is 2 km from the A6 motorway exit and 15 km from Orly Airport. Refugee Reception Centre?
The hotel physically appears to be a few shipping containers bolted together in an "H" shape. Tiny porthole sized windows. There is an automated check-in machine outside (which was out of order). Enter into a dark and dingy reception area, where a very friendly receptionist processed my arrival with no drama (I was pleasantly surprised there).
Room is accessed by a 6 digit code... Room itself quite small but adequate for someone staying one night. Basic bathroom (not hot water left for my morning shower... or maybe there never was any). Outer bedding badly stained, however sheets, pillow, and towels were perfectly clean.
Unfortunately I forgot my 6 digit room code in the room, and on returning from an evening out was locked out of my room. These hotels do not have dedicated on site staff at all times, so luckily found a Post-It note of the broken check-in machine with a mobile number to call in case of emergency... Someone answered after the second time of calling, and gave me my code over the phone... I was very grateful at the time, however I could have been anybody which is a breach in security
Breakfast quite basic, but then again for €5 what more could one expect
Overall I would not stay here again, (I'll book in time next time at a more mainstream hotel), however for those on a tight budget the hotel should serve the needs of many
