Domfront is beautiful and the staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly.

The hotel is somewhat down at heel, but that was made up for by the lovely friendly and helpful staff. The meal in the grill was basic but satisfying and not hugely expensive. The grill was very popular and there were even a number of locals and regulars in the restaurant. Towels were clean and soap was also provided. Not an expensive hotel, but we still enjoyed ourselves in Domfront after a long drive up from the south. The hotel was very handily situated for a trip into the stunning mediaeval city.

Classique pas de surprises

Hôtel sans prétentions le prix des chambres est correcte seul bémol il est un peu à l écart de la ville mais il y a un restaurant au cas où dans l hôtel. Bien pour un séjour court dans le cadre de la veloscenie

Chambre spacieuse, propre avec grande baignoire dans la salle de bain . . .
Par contre, dommage que nous ayons 2 lits côte/ côte au lieu d'un grand lit double comme demandé lors de notre réservation !

Als Jugendherberge ordentlich, als Hotel ungenügend

Dies ist kein Hotel, sondern ein Massenlager. Wir bekamen 2 Zimmer mit je 3 Einzelbetten zugewiesen. Wenigstens mussten wir nicht mit anderen Reisenden teilen. Offenbar war überhaupt niemand außer uns im Haus.
Das Zimmer war sauber, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im ganzen Haus roch es sehr merkwürdig und penetrant nach einem Putzmittel. Das Personal im angrenzenden Hotel de France, wo wir auch Frühstück bekamen, war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenigstens durfte unser Hund gratis mit im Zimmer übernachten.
Es ist zu erwähnen, dass sich diese Unterkunft nicht im alten Kern von Domfront befindet, sondern ziemlich weit den Hügel runter. Wer mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, stört sich vielleicht nicht an einem Abendspaziergang in den Ort. Aber wir waren den ganzen Tag Fahrrad gefahren und hätten uns den Aufstieg nach Domfront zum Abendessen gerne gespart.

Vieillot et sans aucun charme

Le gîte est attenant à l'hôtel, qui a l'air beaucoup plus agréable. Nous étions dans une chambre " rénovée ", mais il y a probablement un long moment déjà : moquette (dont une partie en carrés, non collés), salle de bain d'un autre âge...
La propreté et l'emplacement sont corrects, mais le prix reste moyen par rapport à d'autres hébergements sur Domfront sachant que le petit déjeuner (proposé à 8,5€) n'est pas inclus
