Lovely hotel close to Disney Village and parks
Stayed for three nights over a weekend. My 4th visit to DLP and first time staying at the Sequoia Lodge. I was travelling with my daughter and my mum whose first time it was at any Disney park.
First impressions were good. It’s a nice looking hotel with a nice feel. The entrances and lobby have a nice ambience.
The room is obviously dated but the hotel is going under a refurb so will be much improved soon. However with the original room, it was still very clean and although yes there are limited sockets and charging areas in the wall, they did provide a multi port device to use which helped.
Room was also serviced each day.
The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The luggage drop and pick up was very quick and efficient. I asked for a ‘first visit’ badge in two places in the hotel (check in desk and concierge) but was told they do not have any. I also checked at City Hall in the park but was told they do not do them. Which is a shame.
The shop is good and has nice merchandise plus some drinks and snacks.
We didn’t book a meal plan so only ate one afternoon the Redwood bar once it opened. The food was fine but the service very good. It has a nice atmosphere and must be lovely in autumn/winter with the big fireplace.
We had weather around 30C and found the air-con in the room to be perfectly sufficient.
We met two characters on two separate days in the hotel (Donald and Minnie) so benefitted from the shorter lines than in the parks.
Overall I would be happy to stay again as I think the price is good for what you get and would look forward to seeing it after its refurb.

Magical experience
Had a lovely experience in Sequoia Lodge from the moment we walked in on our first day we were greeted with a friendly service.
We stayed in a Golden Forest Club room and from our experience it was definitely worth the upgrade as having the dedicated concierge and lounge for breakfast and snacks made our stay more relaxing.
This is now my favourite hotel at Disneyland Paris and would definitely consider coming back to this one especially once it has been fully refurbished

Needs to be better for the prices charged
We (family of 4) have just returned from a 6 night stay at Sequoia Lodge.
The positives
The hotel is situated a 10 minute walk from the park entrances - a flat walk by the lake and through Disney village.
Our room was of a decent size.
Previous reviewers have had problems with the air con - we visited when it was hot but had no problems - we set it each day at 18.5 degrees.
Beds were very comfy.
Room was quiet and we slept well.
Room was clean
There are character interactions in the hotel foyer each day between 8.15am and 11am - we met Donald on one day and Max (Goofy's son) on another day. Queues were short (less than 10 min wait).
Check in was friendly and efficient
The negatives
Towels are the poorest we have ever experienced - paper thin and rough. A hostel would provide better towels!
Feeble shower - trickled! Also cramped space when taking a shower.
Room is dated - yes they are renovating but for the price we paid I expected much better.
Pool needs renovation. Feels old. Tape was stuck to the bottom of the 'door' separating the indoor pool from the outdoor pool (which you had to duck under).
Overall, the hotel seemed like an expensive Travel Lodge!

This hotel doea NOT have air conditioning. Do not believe them.
Do not believe them that they have air conditioning. It is as hot as hades in my room. Numerous customers have complained and they do nothing about it but get an attitude and tell lies. It is NOT against the law here for them to have adequate cooking and ventilation. Actually, since you cannot open the windows, I imagine it is legally a Healy hazard to be cooking us in this oven. Really, there may be nice things about staying here but does that matter when you are tossing and turning all night like a rotisserie chicken?
