2 nights in trailer
We stayed two days in the trailer. The location is spacious, very shaded. The campsite is quiet.
The pizzas that can be ordered in the evening are excellent.
The children had fun with the games on site.
Our stay was exotic and relaxing.

Great small budget campsite tucked away next to the river.
I've used this campsite 4 times now during the long drives down and back up from Essex, UK and then down through from Calais - as it's 500 miles from my home - which is really the max distance you really want to drive in one go (including driving to the Eurotunnel etc)
Small, basic campsite which for me is perfect for the 1 night stays that I've used it for.
Bear in mind that this campsite is only 15 euros a night.
Try to get a pitch away from the large bushy / wooded areas to avoid the damn mosquitos - the pitches under the pine trees I think are the best.
Each pitch has electricity, but make sure you have a 20/25m lead with you as you might not be right next to the power box.
Wifi is available at the small reception area if you need it.
Toilets and showers are functional - I've always found them to be clean and tidy - but they could do with a decent update.
Small "shop" on site if you need a couple of bits to eat. You can also order home made pizza each night (very reasonable at 10-12 euros) to either take back to your tent/caravan or eat outside the little front reception area (with some tables under the shade). Beer and ice-cream can also be purchased.
The river is literally a 1 minute walk, I swam in it last year with no issues to cool down from the heat (this year it was 40deg upon arrival!).
As I say, don't get your expectations up, but if like me you are looking for an overnight layover then it's perfect.
If you want decent fuel for your vehicle, then a quick trip either before you arrive or on your way out then stop at the small town of Tavaux (North of the campsite) - which is 15 mins by car.
3/4 fuel stations including the one I always use at the Super-U - which is a decent well stock supermarket.

Horrible to escape!
Boss haughty, unpleasant, lazy!!!!! Who wants to make us pay 50 euros in cleaning fees! There are no cleaning products! Or even a mop! The sign of the campsite badly.indicated! This lady can change profession!!!

Cessez de cracher votre venin sur tous les réseaux. Vous étiez ivre le soir. Les voisins se sont plaints de vos nuisances sonores. Nous avons courageusement ramassé votre vomi après votre départ. Vous n'avez même pas eu la franchise de nous dire que vous aviez eu un souci. Vous cherchez à créer des problèmes qui n'existent pas tout simplement parce que vous n'assumez pas vos négligences. Inutile d'aggraver votre cas, la plateforme Airbnb vous a radié et c'est bien mérité.

We love Camping le Canoe!
We just spend 13 nights at Camping le Canoe and had a fantastic time. We rented a pitch for our trailer tent but in return would definitively consider one of the various forms of rental available, including shepherds huts.
It is calm and relaxing but with plenty for kids to do including swing ball and ropes to play on. We loved canoeing down the Doubs. Paintball, Bubble football and donkey walks slaps available on site for an extra fee.
Toilets and showers are basic but clean. There is a disabled shower and toilet. Washing machine available for extra fee.
The ‘snack bar’ was a huge bonus (and in our opinion massively under sold) and food quick and delicious… pizzas, burgers, steak, kids menu nuggets and chips and an ice cream … can’t go wrong!
You can also order breakfast the night before to eat there or on your pitch. Gauffres (waffles), ice cream and drinks available for most of the day.
WiFi excellent in shaded snack bar.
Very welcoming team in a beautiful spot, with plenty to do and lots of interesting places to visit. Recommend fully whether you are planning to stop for one night or stay for longer.

Nice for a weekend
Camping familial. We were very well received. Very pleasant canoe descent with beautiful beaches to picnic and beautiful wildlife observed. Night in original tepee. Sanitary facilities are clean. We dined on site the pizzas are delicious. We were looking for a simple, nature, authentic and quiet place to spend a weekend with friends.. validated place Thank you to all the team the Pasdeloup
