Overnight stay

Well pleased with the room and its comforts. Welcome with a glass of cold juice in very hot weather. The decor is first class. Sorted a place for us to eat nearly. Looking forward to breakfast. Would recommend a visit

France en Velo: Parthenay stop

A hidden jewel just outside Parthenay. Wonderful, large house full of 60's furniture and memorabilia. Quiet location yet very easy to find. Stopped here whilst following route in 'France en Velo'. Host and hostess could not do enough for their guests - welcome cold drink (local apple juice), home cooked pastries then booked dinner in town for me and drove me to the restaurant (although I consider Parthenay easily within walking distance). Excellent breakfast in fantastic dinning room complete with revolving table. The home cooked biscuits and wild angelica cakes were terrific.

What a superb place to stay

Amazing homely place to stay, family owned built 51 years ago with a huge amount of modernity. Inspiring story of the family and great and lovely hospitality by Dan Forniau the daughter of the visionary man behind Villa Ayrault. Breakfast amazing with taste of home wherever it is your home. 10 stars!

Pleasant overnight stay

This is a great place to stay if you want to be outside of the busy town of Parthenay, which is why we chose it. We had a very warm welcome with a lovely cup of tea! We were the only guests staying that night, so had the place to ourselves. Our room had 5 single beds and an enormous well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was lovely, and served on a huge round table. If you want an evening meal here you need to reserve that in advance, which we hadn't done, so we chose to buy some food and eat on the terrace outside.

Toujours un vrai bonheur

Comme l'an dernier nous avons passé un excellent séjour pour le grand week-end de l'ascension.
Accueil excellent, propriétaires aux petits soins pour les visiteurs.
La maison est absolument géniale, dans son jus des années 60 !
Les chambres, avec chacune sa salle de toilette, sont immenses et calmes.
En plus on y mange très bien (table d'hôte sur réservation).
Un séjour inoubliable !
