Summer vacation in Cannes

Hotel America is an excellent option to indulge an excellent time in Cannes. Located convenient ,steps from the Croisette Blvd and Av. Antibes, close by the beach and clubs, restaurants and terrases. The staff is very friendly, anemities are great, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast offers a variety of choices for a good start of the day!

Three Stars for a Four Star Hotel

We were generally satisfied with the small but well appointed mondern room with great air conditioning. However, upon having to leave at 6:30AM, 30 minutes before prepaid self-serve buffet breakfast begins, i simply grabbed a couple of Madeline cookies for the road and was rudely chastised by the front desk attendant who stated “this is not self-serve and nothing is free”. So that reminded me that we twice had to wait in that lobby for our rooms to be readied during our three night stay, we twice had to wait outdoors for the atendant to open the door (after 9:30PM). On the second night, a group of men loudly woke us at 3:00AM, which might be a normal time in Cannes for late nighters, but it showed lack of sound proofing, Some of the staff were very helpful with beach towels and general indication, the hotel location is excellent, and the quality of furnishings was met our expectations.

Wonderful stay with amazing staff

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel America. The entire team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed.
The location is perfect – everything is within easy walking distance, including the beach, restaurants, and shops. The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The breakfast had everything we needed, and the coffee was especially delicious. It was a great way to start each day.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

A correctional facility

It is more like a correctional facility- all staff are rude starting with the manager M Boisselier - it is like they look to punish you if you are late for breakfast (and food is still on display), or charge you the highest rate for an extra room because your child had to stay with you in the room for one night.
On the other front, walls are awfully finished (like a public parking staircase..).
Maybe location is good. You can definitely find better hotels around the corner.

ATTENTION FAMILIES!

My 9-year-old son wanted to spend a night with us at the hotel, they made us rent another room at midnight!!!!!! A room that no one used.
