Fabulous quality of service

1st experience at the establishment and a very nice surprise.
The staff is not only very attentive but even endearing.
Chef Waltes is new and is keen to meet the guests at the end of service if they wish.
His dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious: they invite you to travel ️
The room smelled so good upon arrival, as for the breakfast, it is worthy of a 5-star hotel. Choice, diversity, quality, everything is there.
Tranquility at the divine pool.
Thanks to Luggi and his big smile despite the size of the luggage, and to the professionalism of Yasmina and Anaë at all hours, who set the bar high (keep it up!) with simplicity.
With great pleasure for another stay.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Booking for one night at this 5-star hotel to end our stay on an unforgettable note. Unforgettable indeed, since we were put in a maid's room, with a view of a rooftop terrace, smelly and cramped with a 140cm bed, inconceivable for a 5-star hotel at 300 euros a night!
At the time of check-in we had to pay a 300 euro deposit, a surprising and anti-commercial practice! If you have to book a short stay, look elsewhere.

Great service, good location

Solo traveller but part of an organised tour. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk to the station should you want to enjoy the small Corsican trains and many do. You can get from Calvi to Ajaccio but you will need to change trains, worth the trip and not expensive for the journey.
The port front is just a little further with a wealth of places to eat and buy supplies. The citadel is also easy to reach from the hotel.
The hotel is on a quiet road and there is parking opposite the hotel. Warm welcome and the staff really cannot do enough for you. My room was on the front, blackout curtains mean you can keep any light out.
Rooms have a good bathroom, tea/coffee in the room with kettle and coffee machine. Safe and plenty of storage.
There is a beautiful pool, with loungers and a raised bar seating area to relax in the sun too.
The drinks etc are not cheap but they are reasonable I thought overall for the comfort and service. There is a lift to the rooms and the food in the restaurant is very good. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
