Comfort, calm and welcome in the hyper center of Calais ... exclusive hotels as we love them!
Ideally located in the city center, in a quiet and green area, a comfortable and generous classic, the decoration is neat, the welcome ate t ive and professional... to get out of aseptic places and have fun!

Always our choice when staying in Calais
My wife has stayed here since she was a child and I have for the last 15+ years whenever we pass through Calais. Always a very good standard with a good breakfast and an underground car park if required.
Only downside is that the hotel has no restaurant our favourite (Cafe de Paris) has permanently closed. We need to find a better alternative that the one we tried this year!

For ferry connection
The hotel is a good option for travelers using the ferry to Dover, as it is only a few minutes' drive from the port. Parking in the area is limited, so it is worth reserving a space in the hotel's garage. However, accessing the garage can be quite challenging, and you need to call the hotel to have the gate opened.
The hotel does not offer dinner service, but there are several restaurants nearby. The rooms are showing clear signs of wear and tear, so it is best not to expect too much.

Hotel Meurice……..an unexpected Wow!
We have stayed at the Hotel Meurice 4 times now before crossing back to the UK on the ferry or train. I can not rate this Hotel high enough.
1. Staff at this Hotel and the friendly, helpful and make your stay that much better.
2. The Hotel decor is second to none.
3. The rooms in the old part of the hotel are very traditional with a modern twist. The rooms in the newer part of the hotel are clean bright fresh.
4. The breakfast has everything you could ever need for a perfect start to the day.
5. The position of Hotel Meurice in Calais is perfect for either the ferry or tunnel. Calais shops and restaurants are only an easy walk away.
