I cannot fault this place

We were evacuated from our house in Cap Ferret ten days ago due to the fires, and were so, so lucky to find a room in this wonderful small hotel. Staff in hotels tend to be lovely, but the staff in this hotel are quite exceptional- they have been so kind and caring and helpful. All of them. All the reception staff, all the catering staff, all the cleaning staff, all exceptionally lovely and efficient and kind. We are so very grateful.
The hotel is in a building that is a glorious mix of old Bordeaux yellow stone and additional uber-modern parts. It is in a delightful part of town, easy walking to restaurants, shops, to the river, and to the botanical gardens. Breakfast is very very good. Our room is spacious, air conditioned, large comfy bed with good bed linen. Every part of the hotel is cleaned to a high standard. I cannot fault this place. Whoever chooses the staff here deserves commending. To everyone at LMB - we thank you most sincerely.

Bord’eaux refuge

Our first trip to Bordeaux coincided with the fires, having somewhere to take a breath and relax before heading back home was a blessing - uncomplicated, easy going and stylish - worth a 4 star rating

Great newly refurbished hotel in an old apartment building

A very nice cozy hotel, newly refurbished I think with a lovely patio to have breakfast at. Effective airconditioning in the room which is a must these times.
