Amazing View from our Balcony.
We arrived in bad weather but fortunately it improved so we could enjoy the great view.
Liked the location being slightly away from the touristy center and the walk up to the hotel gave us some much needed exercise after being in the car.
The room was very well decorated and clean, walking in there for the first time and opening the shutters gave us a lovely surprise when we arrived. The citadel and be clearly seen with the mariner below.
The owner was very nice and made us welcome. We would stay there again.
Only minor criticism would be the breakfast, being a bit small for the price, but otherwise it was a great stay.

Disappointed...
Disappointed with this property...
No contact with real with the manager, when dropping off the keys nobody was present at the reception.
The room was pretty but the air conditioning didn't work and neither did the electric shutters.
For one night at 150€ it is a little expensive.
For me this property does not deserve 3 stars.

Looking for the worst hotel and administrator? Here u are!
Beside the hotel being set on top of a high Hill, beside the maybe-sometimes-slightly-working air conditioning system, the shower was a nightmare: water was missing and nobody had informed us up front. We asked the owner but she didn't care: she just said "je suis fatigue et je n'ai pas du temps" (I am tired and I have no time). Since this just happenned a few minutes ago, I am really curious to see if she has the gut to reply to this review. By The way I just realized other customers reported the same issue about water and behaviour. Good with minor flaws
We stayed in Augustin Marie for 3 nights in the end of May during our 10 days’ trip to Corsica.
The hotel is located on a quite steep hill in 10 minutes’ walk from the port. On the one hand, it provides you with total silence and great views of the citadel. On the other hand, if you are not in fit, it’ll be quite difficult to walk to and fro every day a few times a day. However, it was absolutely OK with us.
We had superior double room with terrace and awesome view. And we especially liked our bathroom – it was simply perfect! All in all, the room was very good, comfortable, clean and spacy enough, however we’d wish there was a door between bathroom and living-room.
Breakfast is 12 EUR per person and it was quite poor as compared with breakfasts in Ajaccio and Bastia hotels which had equal cost: just local cheese and boar ham, milk and cornflakes, croissants, yogurt, bread and butter. I wish there were some eggs, sausages and home-made pastry, but nothing of that sort was ever served. However, we felt reluctant to go to the port every morning and chose to eat in the hotel.
Wi-Fi was pretty good, but it works only at the reception area – no signal in our room.
The hostess is a nice lady, however it feels like she isn’t really in love with her business. I can agree with one of the reviewers guessing it’s her side job. No service, no assistance, no map: «You can make a request in office de tourisme».
To sum it all up, I would say that this is still the best place to stay in Bonifacio: comfortable, close to the port and the citadel, not so expensive as other hotels in Bonifacio, good Wi-Fi and minor flaws.

Stunning view but...
The view is definitely the greatest asset of this hotel. It shows the perfect postcard photo of the citadel of Bonifacio. Pity a crane is currently ruining a bit the picture. As for the hotel itself, the hostess is very friendly, the rooms are spotless clean, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is big and delicious.
On the not-so-good side, it looks more like a side job than a real hotel and the service lacks a bit of professionalism: the reception is empty and you have to look or phone for assistance, there is no info available (map...) and the rooms are easily accessible to any passers-by. The friendliness of the staff compensates for these details but it doesn't for what I saw as a major turn-off: in the room, there was no separation whatsoever between the bedroom and the bathroom (this is in fact more a recess than a separate room). There is no door, no curtain, nothing. So basically, if you are using the toilets, you are sitting one metre away from someone who would be sitting at the desk with only half a wall in between. Same if you are having a shower, with the mirror you are fully visible from the bedroom. You have no privacy at all.
On top of that, there is a window in the bathroom corner with no curtain so since there is no door, the sun shines quite early in the bedroom.
I glimpsed in another room (the door was open for housekeeping) and I noticed it had a curtain between the bedroom and the bathroom. This is definitely a small investment they should consider.
