Fabulous meal
We all very much enjoyed our meal. We were 3 couples. Compliments to the Chef. The flavours were wonderfulThe service was welcoming and warm and attentive. We loved this family run restaurant. The food here highlights why French food is top class. We would very much like to return.

LOYAL CUSTOMERS and completely satisfied
Just spent a few days as we do every year at this establishment. From the aperitif to the coffee, everything was a real treat, with the bonus of a very beautiful, friendly, and family-oriented setting.
We love it and have a desire to RETURN when leaving.

La caravelle
Very well-located hotel. Very clean room. Good breakfast with everything you need. Dinner was really very, very good, kudos to the chef. The hotel staff are truly wonderfully kind, as are the waitresses. I recommend this hotel and we will return with great pleasure.

A charming stop aboard La Caravelle
We stayed at La Caravelle from June 26 to 29 and had an excellent time.
Our room, with its stunning view of the lake, was a true haven of peace. Very clean, air-conditioned, tastefully decorated, and featuring a pleasant little balcony with a table and chairs, it provided an ideal setting for relaxation. The tranquility of the place is a real plus.
The welcome also deserves to be highlighted: the entire team is warm, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond to ensure the stay is perfect. One feels expected and genuinely welcomed.
The breakfast is a delight: a generous buffet, both savory and sweet, with numerous homemade preparations that make a difference.
If I had to mention two small areas for improvement, it would be the absence of a safe in the room for jewelry or valuables, as well as a small refrigerator, which would have made the stay absolutely perfect.
A very nice address that we recommend without hesitation and where we will return with great pleasure.

Unpretentious, lovely lake side setting
A nice setting by the lake. The hotel is somewhat basic and rooms could do with an overhaul. We arrived mid afternoon and asked if we could get a snack- even just a baguette, but were told not possible - strange as the owner presumably has access to the kitchen? Dinner was nice and for a one night stay it's fine if basic.

However, I would like to go back over the course of your stay. You arrived in four by bike in the middle of the afternoon. Following our lunch service, we were running out of bread, as the resupply was only scheduled just before the evening service. That’s why I offered you some refreshments accompanied by a few pastries to share. If I do have access to the kitchen, baking is a profession in its own right, and I prefer to leave this know-how to my baker!
My colleagues and I have done everything possible to respond to each of your requests, from your arrival until your departure the next day. In particular, we carried out a double change of room for you and your friends (which required the cleaning of four rooms in total), and we remained at your full disposal for multiple services, both at dinner and breakfast. In addition, one of the people in your group has several food intolerances; we have adapted our dishes, which may have altered their taste perception.
We sincerely thought that we had done our best to offer you a pleasant stay, and we regret that this was apparently not enough. Finally, regarding our establishment, it was completely renovated two years ago, but we remain a 3-star hotel, with the corresponding services.
Hoping that you will still have good memories of your time on the bike.

Je me permets toutefois de revenir sur le déroulement de votre séjour. Vous êtes arrivés à quatre, à vélo, en milieu d'après-midi. Suite à notre service du midi, nous étions en rupture de pain, le réapprovisionnement n'étant prévu que juste avant le service du soir. C'est pourquoi je vous ai proposé des rafraîchissements accompagnés de quelques pâtisseries à partager. Si j'ai effectivement accès à la cuisine, la boulangerie est un métier à part entière, et je préfère laisser ce savoir-faire à mon boulanger !
Mes collègues et moi-même avons fait tout notre possible pour répondre à chacune de vos demandes, de votre arrivée jusqu'à votre départ le lendemain. Nous avons notamment procédé à un double changement de chambre pour vous et vos amis (ce qui a nécessité le nettoyage de quatre chambres au total), et nous sommes restés à votre entière disposition pour de multiples services, tant au dîner qu'au petit-déjeuner. Par ailleurs, l'une des personnes de votre groupe présentant plusieurs intolérances alimentaires, nous avons adapté nos plats, ce qui a pu en modifier la perception gustative.
Nous pensions sincèrement avoir fait de notre mieux pour vous offrir un séjour agréable, et nous regrettons que cela n'ait apparemment pas été suffisant. Enfin, concernant notre établissement, il a été entièrement rénové il y a deux ans, mais nous restons un hôtel classé 3 étoiles, avec les services correspondants.
En espérant que vous aurez malgré tout gardé un bon souvenir de votre passage à vélo.
