An excellent hotel when stopping during a long drive.
It was clean and inviting with lovely quality bedlinens and towels and a comfortable bed.

Excellent stay at Coto! Immaculately clean room with many thoughtful details and overall very well designed. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. The receptionist (owner?) was extremely welcoming and warm making us tea on arrival and offering a kettle for the room. Really enjoyed our stay. About a 18 min walk into the centre of Beaune with large supermarket en route for supplies. Would highly recommend and would have happily stayed longer if we could have.

Very Unwelcoming
A Charming First Welcoming by an Elderly Lady in February 2025. Good stay in all points that made me return today, Oct. 25. Big disappointment from the finish. A young man arrived, looking sullen, without even looking at me to make the admission. Every contact with him was a disappointment due to his unwelcoming behaviour and twisted innuendos in his answers. The climax came when, on the return of the last dog walk I wanted before the receptionist left to avoid the closed door, he called me out and accused me of having wanted to hide the dog from him. In his own words he is a salaried employee, I really believe there is a serious recruitment problem. I don't know if this young man was ever trained in customer relations. On the other hand, the room was not as clean as in February, dusty furniture. I’m waiting to see what breakfast will be like... Too bad for this nice little hotel, I hope there will be a return to the same Welcoming level I enjoyed during my 1st stay.

dès la première minute de votre arrivée, jusqu'à votre départ le lendemain, vous n'avez cessé de vous plaindre pour toutes les raisons possibles et imaginables de façon virulente et véhémente envers notre personnel.
Sachez que le fait d'être cliente ne vous autorise en aucun cas à manquer de respect à notre personnel.
Vous demandez que l'on vous offre diverses boissons gratuitement (chocolat chaud / café...).
Lors de votre enregistrement à la réception, vous vous présentez sans préciser que vous possédez un chien, afin de ne pas payer le supplément animal, alors que ce supplément est clairement mentionné sur toutes les plateformes et affiches dans l'hôtel.
Pardonnez moi de ne pas trouver cela très honnête... Nous sommes un établissement commercial et non un établissement à caractère caritatif. Vous conviendrez donc que les prestations doivent être payées (Nous payons nos fournisseurs de notre côté, et comme je vous l'ai expliqué, le ménage n'est pas le même selon qu'un animal ait séjourné dans la chambre ou non, d'où le supplément... l'état de votre chambre le lendemain peut en témoigner).
Je vous invite à consulter notre note moyenne par rapport au service et à l'accueil. Peut-être que le problème ne vient pas de nous et qu'une éventuelle remise en question de votre part serait nécessaire... ??
Enfin, je tiens à vous informer que nous sommes parfaitement satisfait de notre personnel (cela inclus la personne que vous évoquez, présente depuis l'ouverture, soit presque dix ans).
