Come for 1 night we stayed 3 nights so well we were
The room was perfect

Very Good Three-Star Hotel

We (@wolfestreettravel on Instagram and wolfestreettravel.com) stayed 2 nights at Hotel Reine Mathilde's "La Maison de Mathilde" annex around the corner during a 2+ month road trip across Italy, Malta, France, and Portugal. Solid, 3-star hotel, with concomitant accommodations, breakfast, and hotel fit and finish. Not bad, not great, just fine. Great location though!

Great respite

Nice hotel. The room was a perfect combination of old and new. The room was large and very clean. It is tucked away in a very quiet area. The staff were very helpful and kind. The woman who checked us in even carried my bag. They have no elevator. A lovely breakfast buffet is available in the attached restaurant.

Well situated for the D Day experience

We were visiting Bayeux for both the tapitry and the ww2 D day experience. The hotel is ideally situated for both. The famous tapestry is a short walk away. And the meeting place for the Normandy beach tours is almost next-door. It is across from the cathedral. We stayed in modern annex on the hotel grounds. The hotel restaurant has an outdoor patio which is a local watering hole.
Parking is a problem. A tip: go to any tobac and pay Euro 2.50 for a blue parking disk. It is good in designated parking areas throughout Europe. The hotel directed us to parking next to the tapestry.
The hotel is a great option if D Day is your destination. Comfortable and well located.

A great base & hotel for exploring Bayeux
We were located in the annexe to this centrally located hotel and enjoyed a spacious room with good appointments. The staff were very helpful and so our overnight stay was comfortable and allowed us to enjoy the treasures of this pretty town.
