"Retaise Parenthesis"
A big congratulations to the young owner and his entire team, who have managed to create an atmosphere that is both professional, family-oriented, and deeply welcoming. Even without the sun during our stay, they succeeded in creating a warm and relaxing ambiance that made us forget the capricious weather of Île de Ré.
The service is attentive, natural, and sincere, with the rare impression of being welcomed as regulars from the very first moments.
Special mention also goes to the restaurant: simple, just, and effective cuisine, where the chef perfectly masters his products and intelligently highlights local and seasonal ingredients. No unnecessary showiness, but generous, well-executed plates full of flavor, which enhance both the quality of the products and the terroir of Île de Ré.
The setting is calm, soothing, and perfectly maintained, ideal for disconnecting for a few days.
It is particularly pleasing to see young enthusiasts take over this type of establishment with such desire and investment, in order to keep these beautiful places alive and continue to offer us these moments of escape that we so desperately need.

Breakfast was very good; however, the hotel restaurant was very poorly cooked, leaving us to wonder why it has 3 stars
