Excellent family home with swimming pool

Passing through the area, we particularly enjoyed our rest in this family home, very well kept very nice, the room is very nice, the pool and spaces around the top and breakfast taken in the garden excellent. If you are looking for a peaceful place to visit the Green Perigord, then go without hesitation. We are far from tourist hotels with noisy entertainment. The 4 families present today were looking for the same thing. Friendliness and Family Welcoming. You can dine on site some days. the chef looks amazing. I think unfortunately you have to book well before at least 24 hours and the restaurant is open that evening. We would have liked to try the nice dishes we can see in photo. But with our car we drove 15 minutes to Périgueux and also possible to go to Brantôme to look for a restaurant. There is a pizzeria open on certain days of the week, a priori from Wednesday to Sunday in the village.

Never again....

Never experienced... Rooms heard everything in the other room. Trash was not emptied. Breakfast 2 pistolets and 1 cake (picked up from the bakery) and sliced cheese and salami, 3 jars of yohourt and we were 4.
Every day the same, no egg, nothing ... dinner was gathering of all guests for 1h30 min, with glass, food nothing particularly sure not as indicated in the ad. (And then 10€ more questions per person than mentioned)
Behind picnic basket have to ask penultimate day. Then double consumptions charged. If we wanted to swim, we had to open the pool ourselves and close the sail again. This never again....

Super experience, Very friendly welcome, nice rooms, nice terrace, beautiful garden, super cook, worthy of a star! Very good central location, many opportunities for visiting in the area.

Lovely B&B with gourmet Table d’hôtes

Lovely B&B on a beautiful domain with a nice, large swimming pool. The great asset is the cooking of Eli, the owner, who really cooks on a gastronomic level and ensures generous portions with top quality ingredients. Eli and Evelyn both make everyone feel at home quickly. There is no ‘honesty bar’, a bit of a shame, but no real problem, because usually someone is at home to order a drink. Nice, quiet area too. We enjoyed it!

Best Chef in the Region

As longtime residents, my wife and I believe this restaurant has the best chef in the region. If the ambiance were more formal, it would easily merit a star. Or two. As is, the value is extraordinary, the quantities copious, the plates original, a visual delight, and delicious. The service is friendly, if a bit on the slow side. Al fresco dining is in a lovely garden. Indoors are two intimate dining rooms. A bit off the beaten track but more than worth the detour!
