Lovely stay.
Rooms was an apartment style room
2 big bedrooms and bathroom and kitchen area and lounge.
It was clean but just outdated.
The area was about far out, but we could get lifts with uber.
Zak at the hotel is very helpful. Helped with our tours and sights and food.
Had a lovely seating area outside with pool and lovely views from the hotel balcony.

Rooms are clean, breakfast with everything your heart desires and to relax after sightseeing a turn in the pool , what more could you want

A dream stay in Dream Island.
It's so close to all the incredible sites of the west bank, and a very short drive from big ticket visits like Valley of the kings, and Hatshepsut's temple (and so very many more)
We were joyfully upgraded from a shared room to a two room apartment, which was fabulous for ladies on a tight budget. The space was amazing, and the beds very comfy. Plus a good fridge and washing machine which are so useful. Also the room said it had a pool view, this turned out to be an absolutely exceptional balcony with a stunning Nile view, across the banana fields, with the chirping of cicadas.
Everyone is so helpful and kind. Especially Zak who looked after us so well and made us feel like old friends, not new guests, i hope we will stay friends. Our day out with Zak was one of the best days, he was such good company, and taught us so many interesting things.Everyone treated us like family, and it felt so special
Special mention also to Ala who was so kind, teaching us Arabic words and telling us all about the culture, and all about his family. Ala also works at the hotel's sister restaurant, moon valley, which serves amazing food.
The village of El Djorff is a little way from the main tourist areas. We loved the walk through the village to the ferryport, meeting wonderful people all the way. It was easy to get transport from the hotel when we didn't want to walk. This is somewhere to stay for simple, chilled comfort, but also an authentic Egyptian experience. It exceeded our expectations, we booked a cheap hotel, and recieved a vip experience. We loved it. We miss it already, and we only left 2 hours ago.
