Very good accommodation
I was in the hostel Dar Cairo, on Sheriff Basha Street almost corner to July 26, for a month (end of March 2025 until end of April).
When I arrived, they had not yet started the renovation works that have made Dar Cairo a very nice and comfortable accommodation.
I had no AC in the room then, no TV, no other improvements that I see today. Congratulations to Mohammed, your director for the beautiful environment you have created!
Like any building in Cairo, you may be unfavorably impressed by the portal, elevator and the state of the stairs... but once in the hostel you will see that it is completely renovated and offers rooms where you will spend a comfortable stay in Cairo.
And breakfast is varied and plentiful!
I want to talk about Adam (at reception) and Amira and Muna, who will serve you breakfast. Consult with them any matter that arises and they will assist you accordingly.
Besides the rooms, it also has a small apartment.

部屋自体は比較的きれいに整備されており、エアコンも完備されているが、ホテルが入居している建物自体が古く、階段はゴミ・ホコリだらけ、食べかけの生ごみも見受けられ、不衛生であった。エレベーターは木製かつ吊り下げ式で使用するにはコツがいる。安全に使用するために、十分な注意が必要。ホテルのスタッフはフレンドリーかつ親切なので、施設・設備の問題である。
