The hotels offers excellent location as all attractions in Old Town are easily accessible by foot.
This hotel is nice and clean, easy to check in and out. I would recommend staying here if you want to explore Prague in relaxed way.

Where do I start. On various websites online it says check in is 2pm and checkout is 12pm. We arrived at 12pm. The receptionist said our room was not available yet so she can't check us in early and advised we come back around 2pm as check in is 3pm... Ok, no problem. We asked if we could change our clothes and she pointed us to the disabled toilet. My partner went first and I sat on the chairs in the restaurant area, closest to the toilet, as there was no where else to sit. Ten minutes later, the receptionist walks past with 2 guests, avoiding eye contact with me, on their way to their room. No rooms available huh? On her way back she came to me and said "I've checked the system, your room is available (10 mins after saying it wasn't) but the system won't let me check you in unless you pay a fee". I politely declined. I went to get changed and my partner sat in the same chair. While I was changing, the receptionist check in another 2 guests! Also, my partner was told that she could not sit on the chairs as its part of the restaurant. We came back later in the evening to check in. We were taken to our room on the 4th floor, which had 2 tiny windows, barely any natural light, and wooden beams below head height, throughout the room so I had to bend down just to get out of the bed. We changed rooms as a result. We were told check out was 11am but also told breakfast finishes at 11am. Odd. Overall a very poor experience. I have more to say but not enough space here.

I would definitely stay at the Dominican again. The room had a lot of character, great AC, was nice and clean. The breakfast was nice with lots of options to choose from.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We lost an item during our departure and they were extremely helpful in locating it (on the street close to the hotel). There was an AI agent on the phone that took the report and passed it on so that someone called us back quite quickly, but it was disconcerting not to be able to speak with a person right away as we didn't know - in an urgent situation - how long it would be before we could speak to an actual member of staff. A bypass for urgent calls would improve communications.
