Excellent boarding house with an amazing location in the center of Prague.

It is a guest house in the historical center of Prague in a medieval building with an exceptional location as it is only 70 meters from Charles Bridge and surrounded by restaurants.
The price vs. quality of Service ratio is excellent.
The rooms are very large with very comfortable private bathroom.
The boarding house has no reception, but Lucie will be watching everything related to your arrival and stay in Prague to help you.
Please note that it is on a second floor and has no elevator. It also has no TV in the room but has high-speed Internet.

Nice, clean, quiet, STAIRS

Quiet, clean, great location, large room. However there are a LOT of stairs. You need to be very self sufficient and in good physical shape. The stairs are old and uneven so pay attention when walk-in them.

Very good location, comfortable beds

Excellent location on Charles Bridge or near it. There are several apartments in different houses. The decor is quite new, it was cleaned every day. For example, a wardrobe in the hallway or, in the case of two bedrooms, another closet were missing. A bedroom was a walk-through room, which could possibly play a role in booking. Otherwise a recommendation!

Prague Dream

Pension Karlova is one of a kind. We have stayed in many star hotels, but the warmth, passion, thought AND cleanliness that they ensure here is unsurpassable. Each furniture in the room is well thought through. You have everything that you need for your family holiday, adequate space, thoughtfully placed furniture and unbelievably clean environment that the person responsible ensures. We were welcomed extremely professionally, with clear instructions of when someone is available at the Pension (no reception desk) and what to d9 with the keys when we check out. It was like clockwork.
A well-stocked shared kitchen (all crockery, cutlery, microwave, oven, electric kettle) AND complimentary tea, coffee....!
Add to that fantastic cleeeeean linen, towels and a sqeeeeaky clean bathroom which even included a room freshener... yep, that’s what I am talking about!
A few steps away from Charles bridge and above one of the most famous chimney cake stores... that’s a dream holiday there!
Cannot recommend enough...

Superb location

What a fabulous place to stay in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Location was incredible just a stone's throw from the Charles Bridge. We opened our shutters on to the pedestrian street below leading straight to the bridge. Cafes, restaurants, sweet shops, souvenir shops all right there and endless music. Our huge main entrance door also led to a fairytale theatre run by a friendly characterful Italian. He would often be in the entranceway encouraging people to come to performances and people were drawn by the live music from his baby grand drifting out to the street. Magic! The room was really spacious with an old world elegance and high ceiling and lovely linen. Shared cooking facilities were handy for a cuppa. An excellent place. No reception though if that is something people need.
