Very nice location, poor hygiene
BUT: the hygiene in the apartment is illogically poor. There is hair and dirt all over the floor, seems like not vacuumed for ages. If you're "that kind of guy" this place is not for you. If you are with kids and panic when it comes to hygiene, also. Bed and bedding seem decent and clean.
Otherwise, if you don't give a fsck for the state of the accommodation and just wanna sleep there - go for it. Location is awesome.

Beware of Apartment Havelska Street No. 10
This property was owned by a Dr Jan Chleboun. His contact number is +[--]
The room looked down and out. The bath tap from the water heater drips hot water. If you bathe in the evening, you may be short of hot water. This is made worse by the fact that the water was heated once in the morning. Imagine, the hot water was dripping during the day and left you with little hot water for a couple let alone a family with kids.I tried to call this owner Dr Jan but he told me he would fix it very soon. he did not. I bathe in cold water that night when the temperature was 10 deg celcius.
In addition, the whole place look old and run down from the kitchen to the apartment building. To be fair, the location of this apartment is great.
Second, this Dr Jan persuaded me to book a taxi through him and got me to pay him 25 euros for a one way trip back to the airport. I paid him and but on the morning of my departure to the airport, he called me to say that the cab driver is not coming. He himself is out of the country and cannot return me my money. Instead, he said he can arrange another taxi driver to pick me up but at a higher fare of 40 euros.
1. Prague is part of my world tour cities. To live in this apartment with restricted use of hot water during end of Summer / cold snap weather is too much for me to bear, in addition to a dripping bath tap. 2. A mere 25 euros is nothing to both of us as we worked in London. But to be cheated by this person on the day of my departure really irates me alot. I decided to make this posting because I am morally inclined to do so.
