A lovely hotel in a good area

This is a hotel that reminds me of hotels I have stayed in when visiting Rome. Lovely decor and lots of gold and cream furniture. The room and bathrooms are spotless. Breakfast is plentiful and served until 10.30am which is a bonus. What I really liked is that students from local universities work there to gain interpersonal, conversational, and IT skills. They are courteous, friendly, and a real asset to the hotel. This, to me, is quite unique.

I would gladly stay here again ✨

One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The cleanliness was truly exceptional and everything was spotless, despite the furniture being quite old.
The hotel may have older furnishings, but it is very well maintained and comfortable. The attention to cleanliness made a great impression and made the stay very pleasant.
I would gladly stay here again.

Not a relaxing hotel to stay with

We were assigned in a room on the first floor infront of the main road and beside the laundry. We could hear the cars passing and some ambulance and on the other side the machines from the laundry and the linen room door opening and closing. There was also a strange noise from upstairs, 6 times thud sound every now and then. The beds are not comfortable, it is making so much noise in every move like there is a thick plastic cover under. So you are literally surrounded with noise. Imagine trying to get a peaceful sleep after a long day of walking around the city. I complained but the reception just said sorry and they cannot do anything about it. If you want to have a relaxing and peaceful stay, don't book in this hotel.

I was disappointed with my stay, especially considering the price point of over €100 per night. The reception staff appeared unprofessional: they were glued to their mobile phones, wearing earphones, and did not greet guests in the morning when we came down for breakfast. They were also dressed in casual personal clothing such as hoodies, which made it difficult to even identify them as hotel staff. At this price level, I would expect a basic service attitude and professional appearance from reception.
The breakfast itself was acceptable, nothing special but fine. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room was not working, which negatively affected the overall comfort of the stay.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations for the price charged.
