Perfect

Nice owners, delicious food and cocktails. Clean rooms and a nice shower. Slept really good. Beautiful view from the windows. Definitely planning to come here again and recommend this to my friends. :)

What a gem - wish we could stay longer

What a find, in the woods (walking easy) and very pretty, quiet location. Very well done with only 4 rooms (all good size) which are themed with the seasons. Owners superb and helpful, lots of information shared including some guides they got from Brno in English. Finding it was fine following the signs from the village, they have a little restaurant, beers about 24 koruna (and they change so the locals come here too). Superb cake, breakfast waffles and more. Really good with lovely little visuals - birds and woodland animals very well painted around light switches and on doors. Clean and good WiFi. Good for Brno, but great base for Moldavia too

Splendid stay, amazing burgers, socially responsible place

The name "Between the Trees" suits this B&B very properly - hidden gem just a few kilometres from Brno, close to highway and region of Moravsky Kras suitable for relaxing trips, that all is not enough to describe how satisfied we were with our stay. Friendly and exceedingly helpful staff, convenient rooms, quiet place and really top simple food (splendid burgers must be really recommended), and especially the socially responsible enviroment (aim/long term policy of the bistro is to help the hendicapped people) deserves the highest rating.
Cons: The access road could be better, but it is shame of the town hall, how they support the local business...

An oasis of peace In Between the Trees

I have spent a night at newly established Mezi Stromy (In Between the Trees) on my way between Prague and Olomouc. I didn't want to stay in the centre of Brno, so on Booking.com I found this marvellous Café with accommodation. They only have four rooms, but each one of them is beautifully equipped and named after a season of the year. I chose to stay in the Autumn room, which was decorated in orange colour with leaf patterned linen. It was an oasis of peace. Literally standing in between the trees of a little village Mokra-Horakov, just outside of Brno, out of all the hassle and sounds of a highway. It's little bit hard to find but the experience is totally worth the search.
They also have a café, so you can satisfy your hunger. For the dinner I had a home made hamburger with a juicy patty, fresh vegetables and a super crispy bun originally made by the owner herself. For breakfast, which is included in the price of the stay, I ordered fresh waffles with a home-made strawberry sauce and whipped cream and a delicious coffee, served with a little cookie in a shape of a tree. :-)
I loved the stay and will definitely be back if I'm passing Brno again.

Restaurace mezi stromy

Krásná projížďka na kole se zastávkou v restauraci mezi stromy. Výběr jídla je trochu menší, ale úplně dostačující. , bylo velice chutné. Určitě navštivte i Mariánské údolí, nebo dojet k Horákové myslivně. Velice doporučuji, ale hlavně za pěkného počasí
