Great

A very clean and nicely appointed room. From the pictures, I was afraid the room was lime green but it is actually a deep, soft olive and very restful. The food and service in the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is 200 m away at hotel Jicin but it is so substantial you need the exercise.

Hotel part of Hotel Jicin

Business trip in Jicin for a multiple time, this is the first time I stay in hotel Rieger, after trying 'Grand Praha' and 'Jicin' hotel.
This hotel is perfect, good location, easy free protected parking, possibility for a lunch or diner, good room, free wifi, direct access with no desk.
The check-in / out is made in hotel Jicin, 10 min walk.
The black point is that you have to go to the Hotel Jicin for the breakfast.

Good hotel, but very noisy from main road and no airconditioning

The location is good, the breakfast in another hotel is good (but still you need to walk there).
However:
The wifi was rather bad. Slow and breaking.
The combination of lack of air conditioning and a noisy main road just outside your windows makes it barely bearable. When it is hot you can either
- Open windows and suffer noises of the road (it's busy even after midnight and every occasional ambulance or a truck will wake you up)
- Close the windows (which will not negate all the noise anyway) and resolve to a fan (provided).
Other than that everything is quite ok, clean, sufficient space, shower.
The parking is not hotel guest exclusive and yoy get the key at the restaurant (which might be closed in which case you need to go to hotel jicin 5 minute walk away, but this was not specified in the reservation).

Very nice restaurance, higher price

We have been visiting restaurant based at this hotel. The design and room set up is nice and clean. There is a place for children which is nice entertainement for them. Our waiter was very profesional and food was delicious. It is always nice to taste more than one food but the portion is very big, you can not order desert. It is little bit shame. The price is higher than average. I think next time we will look for some other place with better price offer.

Nice place to stay

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was perfectly clean and there was everything we needed. Breakfasts were served in another hotel, max 5 minutes by walk and were really tasty! The hotel is located few minutes from the main Jičín square, so its a plus as well.
