Amazing price , lovely staff and an amazing breakfast

Loved this hotel. It's. Little out the main city but it only cost s 2 euros to get into the city by taxi. Huge room, cheap rate and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The staff were super friendly as well. There is also a pool of you fancy a swim.

Enjoyable Stay

This hotel is on the main road to the centre of town. The room was large and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. included hot food. There was plenty of parking. Recommended.

friendly and cosy****

4 of us stayed at the piramida for one night on our way to croatia,after an england international.on arriving we were made very welcome by the owners who joined in more than a couple of beers,including the local fire water(local lemonade)
the rooms are small ,clean and cosy.the bathroom was ok, good power to the shower.
breakfast was good,continental style, including freshly made omelettes of choice or from menu,
not a lot outside the hotel,couple of supermarkets close by.if yuo need to go to town its just a short ride by taxi (2,euros)found a nice little pub the nags head,locals quite friendly,just one warning the kid beggers will try to dip your pocket if given the chance,any way back to the piramida zoran (owner)had arranged taxi to take on to croatia(100 euros)will stay at this place again when in podgrica.recommend to all

Nice, cheap and great hospitality

Hotel is on the outskirts of the city, but that means it's about 20 min walk to the center of the city, but with taxi costing 1,5 - 2 Euro to the center, it is not important. Hotel is new, and in great shape, rooms clean, basic, but do the job. Owners are polite as usual on Balkan region, and breakfast is freshly made just for You, or You can choose a standard table offer... Definetly will be back.

Great out of town hotel, that isn't out of town!

We stayed at the Piramida in October 2011. We were staying in Podgorica for one night for the Montenegro vs England football (soccer) international game. We were en route from Budva Montenegro, to Tirana Albania, & were travelling by hire car.
Location. Finding the hotel is not too difficult. It you are in the city centre, simply go round the hill (the "Gorica" in Podgorica) to the north of the centre, either side. Road names (this one was Nikole Tesle - Podgoricans are very proud of their "electrician"!) aren't well signposted, but the hotel is quite distinctive so easy to find. we returned later that night by taxi (about 1.50 Euro!) & all taxi drivers knew it. We walked into the city over the Gorica hill, as it only takes 20 minutes or so. It was a lovely tree lined walk, & well lit. We even found a great bar in the hills over the city en route.
Rooms. There seemed to be about 12 rooms in the whole hotel. We had 2 adjoining twin rooms. Both were spotlessly clean. Reasonably spacious. Furniture a little twee, but comfortable. Excellent air conditioning. We got the WiFi to work eventually. Not many TV channels, but that seemed normal for Montenegro.
Food. We were very late risers. We got up & went to check out at 11, but the staff mentioned that we hadn't had breakfast & did they want them to cook some for us! We eventually had out breakfast (bacon & eggs - yummy!) at noon. Excellent customer service.
Security. The complex had secure gates so our car was fine (not sure if Albanian number plates are welcome in Montenegro, although everyone seemed friendly). The hotel doors are locked at 11pm, but ring the bell & the night porter lets you in. Simple.
General. We could only book by emailing the hotel, with no deposit. There was no online booking system. It all seemed to work though. I guess it's a simple family hotel. Not the prettiest looking place, but perfectly functional.
Value for money. We paid 100 Euro for 3 people. Earlier we only needed a twin room & that was 66 Euro. You do the maths. Seemed a fair price for what you get. There seemed to be no better value hotels in Podgorica.
Overall, recommended.
