5 star service, food and atmosphere
There is no other hotel in Cyprus that can come close to this one…the Anassa is in a class of its own…service, stunning hotel property on the beach and sunset views with the best cocktails in Cyprus. Cap St. George at the Sea Caves is also amazing but as far as Latchi/Neo Chorio area this is an incredible experience at this hotel.

Best of the best, time after time
Classy. Timeless. Special. Somehow, the Anassa just keeps getting better and better. The tone of our stay was set by the wonderful greeting we received on arrival from the porter, Lucien, who remembered us, made us feel special and was attentive throughout our stay.
This was our fourth time at this hotel, and for us, you would be hard-pressed to find anywhere in the Mediterranean that could top it. It is the quality of the service, the genuine warmth of the staff and the incredible attention to detail that sets this resort apart.
Whether you are travelling as a family, a couple, or somewhere in between, the Anassa truly has it all and, most importantly, it is a place that creates memories you want to come back to again and again.
Where to start? It has to be where we spent most of our days: on the beach. The team there -Tasos, Lambis, Peter, Kristina, Theo, Alexandra and Emola - are all exceptional. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They are incredibly attentive, always going the extra mile, and somehow find time to stop for a chat even when they are busy. The cocktail menu is extensive and drinks arrive quickly, whatever the time of day, while the food selection, from pizzas to Greek salads, is excellent. We did find the adult portions on the larger side, so perhaps some of the lighter options from the excellent children's menu could also be incorporated into the main menu.
Our beds were laid out for us every morning, with special thanks to the towel team, particularly Danut and Hussein. The sea is crystal clear and perfect for swimming, while the water sports centre next to the resort offers an excellent range of activities. We particularly enjoyed trying paddleboarding, which can conveniently be charged back to your room.
The pool and pool bar are another great place to relax, read or simply soak up the atmosphere. It becomes particularly lively later in the afternoon, especially at weekends, and is a fantastic spot for families with young children.
And then there is the Armonia Bar. Honestly, find us somewhere in the world that does better cocktails! One of our favourite parts of the day was sitting there with a couple of cocktails, watching the most beautiful sunset. There is a wonderful atmosphere, and the space felt even buzzier than last year, helped by the refurbishment. The team, particularly Dipak and Stefan, really make the experience, and it was great fun watching the World Cup semi-final in the bar after dinner.
The cocktails are something else. You have to try their signature Pink Diamond, invented by the brilliant Takis, who is always so welcoming. Special mention too to the fantastic cocktail team at Armonia, particularly Panagiotis, who is at the top of his game and great fun to spend time with. We also ate at Armonia on two evenings, where the selection of small plates is perfect if you fancy something a little different.
The food throughout the resort is truly top tier. We particularly love the chef's set menu at Helios, which is always a very special experience. From lamb to sea bass, every course is beautifully executed and perfectly timed, it feels like Michelin-level quality and is a highlight of every stay. Basiliko and the new Amphora Grill are also delicious and well worth visiting.
Breakfast is equally impressive, with everything from perfectly cooked omelettes, prepared by Elena, to pancakes, waffles and Greek yoghurt pots - you name it, they have it. The fresh orange juice and quality of coffee are great too.
We received wonderful service from Diamando, Usha, Constantine and the brilliant Alia across the various restaurants. Special praise must also go to Dora, Marina, Mina and Catalin, who are all tremendous assets to the hotel and made sure we were incredibly well looked after wherever we dined.
Our room was, as always, absolutely spotless. It was spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space, a large bathroom with both a shower and bath, and a beautiful sea view. We would definitely recommend paying the extra for a sea view room - sitting outside and taking in the view is a real pleasure. We all slept incredibly well, and the twice-daily housekeeping was excellent. The little pastry left each day at around 5pm was a lovely touch. As a small suggestion, including tea bags in the room would be a welcome addition, although it did feel as though there was more water provided this year, which was much appreciated.
The gym is small but has the majority of facilities you would need for a quick morning workout, although the pool is hard to resist for an early swim. It is also well worth trying paddle or tennis in the morning, particularly with the new paddle court added this year. And, of course, the spa is as luxurious as ever. A treatment there is the perfect way to unwind and a lovely addition to the itinerary at the end of a relaxing holiday.
Quite simply, the Anassa is hard to beat.

If you want to experience a little bit of Heaven, stay at the Anassa Hotel
We've traveled all over the world, and the Anassa Hotel in Cyprus may be the best hotel we've every stayed at in our lives.
First and foremost, Sebastian and his staff are incredibly meticulous, thoughtful, and kind. My wife informed them in passing that it would be my birthday during the week we were there, and we were welcomed with not only a lovely birthday cake as we walked in, but an incredibly nice note written by Sebastian (the General Manager) himself.
Secondly, every one of the amenities of Anassa are off the charts. The Beach Club in particular was our favorite, as we were always able to find a cabana, and were provided the best service for food/drink there, while being able to maintain the most relaxing and peaceful environment by the perfect beach.
Our room was also extremely comfortable, quiet, and clean. They were able to turn over our room every day we needed it, and despite being a heat wave outdoors, our room was a cool and personal heaven on Earth, with chairs that looked out to the water -- an incredibly relaxing (and romantic) view. The attention to detail is everything there. I mean, even the shampoo and conditioners made my hair healthier than ever, and now I want them back home in the States.
All that said, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend the Anassa Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Cyprus. We have had the fortune of experiencing a handful of other luxury stays around the world, and can confidently say: The Anassa IS WORTH IT.

BEST ATMOSPHERE IN CYPRUS
The best atmosphere which you can find in Cyprus with Hugh quality service and food. The location is also fantastic.

We had an overall pleasant stay at this resort. The property is huge and spread across a very large area, giving it a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and everything is very clean and exceptionally well maintained.
Our room was very large, spotless, and well equipped with everything we needed. Housekeeping was excellent – the room was cleaned twice a day, and the overall maintenance throughout the resort was impressive.
On the downside, the pool area could be much cleaner. The pools were not cleaned during the day, which affected the overall experience. There is a dedicated pool for small children, but many parents chose to stay with their children in the adults’ pool, making it noisy and less relaxing.
The beach is beautiful, but it is very rocky, so water shoes are highly recommended.
The hotel’s restaurants are extremely expensive, with prices that feel unreasonable for what they offer. Even drinks by the pool are overpriced.
Another thing to consider is the location. The resort is very isolated, about an hour’s drive from Paphos. The only nearby option is a small village about 10 minutes away with a few tavernas.
Overall, this resort is best suited for retirees or families with young children. If you’re looking for nightlife, nearby attractions, or a more lively atmosphere, this may not be the best choice. However, if you value a large, clean, and well-maintained resort in a peaceful setting, it could be a good optio
