Wanted to watch Dalmatia in late October.
I happened to be planning a trip with my wife, but I went alone. I rebooked with Diana - "cheapest but quietest." Well, I see - for a single man:-) By the way, got a discount. Took the entire package of air tickets from Lufthansa to and from (two transfers) and Lufthansa, on his own responsibility, offered a transfer to Frankfurt-Main at an hour interval. Okay, I guess I'll make it, but luggage won't. And it did. I watched with my own eyes how my luggage was not loaded on my plane in Frankfurt (I advise you to purchase insurance against loss or delay of luggage - in person helps). Diana, the hostess (a venerable woman) met me at Split airport, as we had agreed - and immediately resolved my questions with the services about the loss of luggage. It was raining, it was soaking wet... She brought me to sleep, stopping by the store to buy me a toothbrush and pasta along the way - and showed me everything in detail and told me and fed me dinner (a separate, specially agreed option). It turned out that the apartment was on the second floor through a narrow wooden staircase and had two rooms: a bedroom-dining room and a bedroom-wardrobe with beds on the second tier - a metre and a half from the floor - with staircases. Well, I'm not the one who left a third of his life in compartments and place cards! That's great! And - it's all very clean! Plus - a tiny kitchen, however with a good set of dishes and a toilet with shower. And - balcony with sea view!!! And an old sloppy olive under the windows. And all this grace is with mosquitoes (have the means against and do not open windows and doors to the street in the evening with the lights on). But that didn't stop me the first night. The next morning, it turned out Diana was sick - and very sick. So, left to my own devices, I found out that at the end of October in Trogir everything goes into winter hibernation. Most restaurants are closed, change clothes on beaches, remove trampers, etc. Weather - +21-23* for everything: day, night, air and sea. And cool, sharp winds periodically. Croats are sly about this weather - they wear light jackets that are tied around their belts in the sun. Well, we balti that the sun, that crematorium - just as long as it's hot:-) So I mean Diana. The location is beautiful! There's parking in the yard (just fixing, I'm on foot). The beach is across the street (50m!), literally "its own." I saw only a few people there in two weeks who were staring as I bathed in this icy water:-) Bus stop to Trogir and back - 3 min, shop - 5 min, jetty with sailboats - 2 min. Eat - opposite the campground, a wonderful little peninsula overgrown with pine trees and with a relatively inexpensive and decent restaurant. Want to go to Trogir or Split - over a slide a mile and a half and may it open up to you! You want a promenade? It starts on the left hand in five minutes.
...Diana changed my towels despite being sick. For my part, I took out the trash and tried not to pig. She took me to the airport, we broke up very warmly, I wished her a Merry Christmas... I dream of going back there someday! For unpretentious and peaceful rest - I recommend (communication: Croatian and English).
