Nice apartments

The location was a short 5 minute walk to the Riva. There are 2 bakeries and two grocery stores about a 3 minute walk away. Very close to bus, train, and port. I enjoyed the large balcony. The room had everything I needed. Very convenient to have the mini kitchen and an extra bonus for having an ice tray! The towels here were very stiff. On occasion, I had problems logging into wi-fi but definitely not a deal-breaker. Everything was very clean and I felt safe there (female solo traveler). The air conditioning is fantastic.

Perfect for our needs

This was the perfect place for a one night stay. We arrived at the bus terminal, walked for less than 10minutes to this accommodation. The apartment was on the small side but clean with a balcony overlooking the railway station and the port beyond it. It was a very short walk to the old town and a walk across the railway lines to get the ferry in the morning. Very convenient

Very convenient for train and ferries

Very convenient for trains and boats.
Couldn’t be closer to the train station and the ferry terminal - logistically excellent. Friendly. And only a few minutes’ walk from the Diocletian Palace - so what more could you want ?
Well there are OK kitchen facilities so good for self catering too and the balconies are quite spacious but then most details become mediocre. Nowhere to fix the shower head (and I stayed in 2 different rooms), nonexistent or poor shower curtain, dodgy WiFi and plenty of hot water in the tank for one shower but probably not enough for two. Very clean. Small bins.
All in all OK but some deficiencies so not a special recommendation.

Central apartments, reasonably priced!

These apartments seem to be down out of the way from main Split but top tip, if able, you can cut across the train tracks and you are right on the marina! The rooms are basic, even though it seems like it's just down a back alley I loved the quirkiness of overlooking the train station with a nice enough view from the balcony into the distance. Staff friendly, they do lock the main doors at night so don't forget the key. Was a bit hard to find but soon got used to it once we got our bearings. Not expensive so if its just somewhere to lay your head whilst in Split it is perfectly fine, no luxury but clean etc.

Be aware of shady payment practices

My family stayed at this hotel in August 2020.
The location was the main reason why this hotel was chosen - it is really close to port and right next to the Split train station - it was very convenient for us as we used both ferries and train. Although it is close to the only sandy beach in Split (about 10-minutes walk), it is not as management would want you believe.
While this place is obviously not a luxury hotel, it seems it is being neglected even for a budget accommodation. Management decided to save some money on basic maintenance - not sure if it has anything to do with corona virus hitting hard their revenue or it is just desire to extract profits as fast as possible - I've made some pictures that will be of more help than my writing...
I would say that the most unpleasant part of staying at this place was the payment. The management (owner?) is preferring euro to local currency (kuna) and upon our arrival late into the evening demanded payment in euro. Since I am from US, we didn't have euro's and I asked for the price in kunas - so happened that I did not have enough kunas left to cover the bill in full and asked if I could pay tomorrow. Well, tomorrow, when I came to settle the bill, I was told a different amount - extra 75 kunas. Apparently, the owner or was it a representative would like not only profit from the property itself, but also tries to make money on currency fluctuations. And yeah, this is cash only establishment...
All in all the whole experience left very bad aftertaste.
Personally, I would not book again at this accommodation, even though nothing major has happened...
