Excellent place to stay with a relaxing atmosohere
Good location we visited the Aquarium which was only a 20 minute walk away. Lovely hotel, first time for us holidaying in Croatia. Staff all very friendly, room was cleaned daily. This holiday was a really chilled and relaxing time for both me and my husband. We honestly felt we got value for our money and would definitely go back to this hotel. Pool was not huge but it certainly big enough for a swim or just nice to cool off in. Loved it was salt water.

Top Hotel in a nice place
Lovely stay had, good room overlooking the harbor Maria wing top.Food was very good, fresh fruit many kinds really get everything..pool also very fine and clean every time fresh towels when you go swimming , very nice and fine indoor pool. Top service in the room they also come by twice a day for clean towels. By the pool almost every day see the dolphins swimming in the sea so nice enjoy, beautiful sunset on other side of island 10 min walk.

Worst vacation in 4 years. Read and choose another hotel this year
We have been regular visitors to this hotel for 4 years . That was the last one. This year there are constant strange situations. On the beach at the yacht club (a restaurant that is right on the beach ) a girl bartender ran over me in a rude way because I was wearing the top from the swimsuit ,with shorts on the bottom Remind this restaurant on the beach and the situation happened at 13 o'clock in 35 degree heat . Big beer - 300ml glass. We've been happy every year, but this year it's a failure. We also took sunbeds, they're paid for here, but we always pay, that's fine. But umbrellas we asked for two umbrellas since there are two of us and we don't want to be in the sun- I had to retake those two umbrellas

Style over Substance
We are on our 9th day out of a 10 day holiday. I would like to remain positive about our stay here at the Park Plaza so will start with the good points.....
1. Restaurant staff are amazing. Work hard and always with a smile.
2. Food is fantastic although somewhat repetitive especially if you are gluten or dairy free. You have to ask for gluten free bread and desserts in the evening. There is a small gluten free area at breakfast. Salad bar is amazing, fresh fruit is gorgeous and the food is of good quality. We have enjoyed it.
3. Stunning hotel aesthetically pleasing. Very clean
4. Unlike other reviews we have had AC which has been great.
5. Stunning location albeit a bit out of the way of everything. It is all either a bus or taxi ride away.
6. Beautiful grounds and scenery. Well looked after.
7. Great sized bath towels.
Now to the reasons why we would not stay at this hotel again....
1. booked a Marina view room which said in the
TUI brochure that was accessible via a covered walkway. It was not attached to the main hotel.
My reasoning for this was that it sounded nice being a Marina wing and I thought it would be quiet. What they didn't state was to access a Marina wing room you first have to climb 13 steps.
No ramps anywhere. I am a wheelchair user and would have found this impossible on a daily basis as you would have to navigate these to get to breakfast and dinner. We did get to our Marina wing room by dragging the wheelchair and the cases up the steps. When entering the room it stank of drains. I phoned down to reception and asked if we could be moved as we would not be able to navigate the steps everyday with the wheelchair. We were told we could but it would cost us €100 euros. Even though I protested, they would not move us until we paid. Personally I think this is disgusting and have taken it up with the rep who is doing his best to sort it for us (another good point, the rep is lovely) but got no joy yet and I will be making an official complaint to TU when we get back. If they can tell you it has a covered walkway they can also tell you about the steps.
2. The house keeping service is not great. The beds are never made properly and we have had one change of sheets in 9 days. (See photos, this is AFTER housekeeping has been in)
3. The site is extremely large and lots of places inaccessible so if you have mobility issues it's maybe not the place for you.
4. The bus stop is quite a walk away so we have had to use UBER to get around which are really good.
5. There is a small shopping/restaurant area again only accessible via the large amount of steps or walking a long way around the complex.
6. The beds are awful. They have mattress toppers on which is great but they slide in the opposite direction to the mattress which is a nightmare.
7. Fantastic indoor pool, NO ACCESS FOR DISABLED OR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES!!
In conclusion I would say stunning area, lovely staff, stylish hotel but isolated location and not suitable if you have any mobility issues especially wheelchair users. It’s not geared up to make things easier for disabled people to enjoy all the facilities comfortably.

Poor room but good holiday
The hotel is very tired and needs updating
