Nice hostel...i got a room with city view .The location near to metro ..nanpinh walking street and halal food easily found nearby. Its actually an appartment that transform into a cheap affordable hostel.The staff is also friendly and helpful...suggesting places to visit..etc. Really love this hostel and recommend it to all travellers visiting kunming..

The location is very good, close to the main attractions and there are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores around. The receptionist is very nice and it seems he puts a lot of effort to keep the place tidy. The room was clean, with a great view, it was very cold there is a little heater (no AC) that you can use but doesn't do much, you are given a pair slide each (no towel given). There are 2 bathrooms for the whole place, 1 man and 1 woman. The squatting toilet, sink and shower are all in the bathroom, there is no toilet paper in the bathroom so you have to buy your own. The bathroom unfortunately is quite dirty, I have seen blood,poop and pee all over the toilet, also it gets blocked quite easily, I myself had to unblocked a couple of times before I could use it. There is very little sound insulation so you can hear people talking and singing in the reception sometimes even until 1am or going to the toilet, so make sure to take earplugs with you. There is no kitchen or fridge but there are 2 washing machines that you can use for 2 RMB. Free water in the reception, sometimes is not available but gets refilled regularly.

I'm very sorry for the bad experience you had. Actually, I clean two bathrooms at least 10 times a day. There have been a lot of guests lately, and it's possible that one of them forgot to flush the toilet after using it properly, or it got clogged and happened to be bumped into by you.. In addition, rooms priced below 120 RMB are difficult to have air conditioning near the entire pedestrian street. Finally, to reiterate, in China, many youth hostels have toilets and showers together, and there are no towels available

The host is great. Great location. Free cold and hot water is great. I love hard bed but the bed is extremely hard hahaha i think this Hostel is ideal for someone who wants to stay 2 or 3 days

We had the private room, view was great. However, there was no water in the morning so we couldn’t shower. Our experiences will definitely be better if this problem doesn’t incur.

I had a good sleep there, location are very good, near the nanqiang pedestrian street and the tangxiziang station.
