Best affordable luxury hotels close to Guangzhou.

This is not my first time visiting Foshan Marriott hotels; in fact, it is my third time. In the past few years, I have spent more than a hundred nights around the Guangzhou area, and this hotel is the most impressive and has high standards. The staff are far more professional than those at the Guangzhou luxury hotels. The moment I parked my car at the hotel's front door, the bellmen from concierge already started helping me with my luggage. When I started checking in, the most professional guest services manager, Alice, began helping me handle the paperwork and introduced the hotel facilities. She is the best; when I had special requests about the room or dining, she was always able to handle them on time and properly. The room itself is fantastic; everything looks new and has a nice design. I also went to happy hour in the M Club, located on the 38th floor. The appetizers are amazing, and the dessert is definitely the best. They even have sparkling wine, which is my favorite. I also met Shelly in the M Club; she made me a delicious mocktail because I told her we were planning to dine out and would be driving—how thoughtful. The breakfast is okay, not as good as some other luxury hotels, but the steamed vermicelli roll is great. When I checked out, I saw Alice again. I thanked her again for the great stay over the past few days, and I hope we can meet again in this hotel later.

Foshan suite

A large complex that houses both Marriott (upper floors) and Courtyard (lower floors)
Good check in and the suite is huge. Tv channel includes CNN so i’m a happy camper
Gym equally spacious
Breakfast at Foshan kitchen, and it’s confusing as Courtyard breakfast restaurant is on another floor. Typical China 5 star fare

Outstanding Crisis Management and Heartwarming Hospitality – A Flawless Stay!

Our family stay at the Foshan Marriott Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. This hotel truly understands the essence of luxury hospitality, demonstrated not just by its beautiful facilities, but by its incredible staff.
Before we even arrived, we communicated via the Marriott Bonvoy App with Eleven and Demo from the "At Your Service" team. They were highly efficient and ensured all our pre-arrival requests (extra blankets and kids' amenities) were perfectly set up in our room. This level of proactive service sets a great tone for the trip.
During our stay, Alice at the Executive Lounge stood out with her exceptional service. She welcomed us with the warmest smile and her attentive, genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home.
What truly impressed me, however, was how the hotel handled an unexpected emergency. I had an accident in the bathroom that resulted in a bleeding injury. The hotel’s response was incredibly rapid and professional. They immediately delivered a first-aid kit to my room and provided swift, compassionate care. Their quick action during a stressful moment was profoundly reassuring.
A huge thank you to Alice, Eleven, Demo, and the entire team for turning a potential crisis into a testament to Marriott's world-class service. I highly recommend this hotel and urge the management team to formally recognize these outstanding associates!

I had an amazing stay at the Foshan Marriott. From the moment I arrived, everything felt elevated and thoughtfully done. The room itself was beautiful—very spacious, comfortable, and designed with great attention to detail. The bathroom was especially impressive, offering a luxurious and modern feel that really stood out.
Staff & Service
The staff were fantastic throughout my stay. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They made the experience feel smooth and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Their level of service really added to the overall quality of the stay.
Room Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. Everything looked fresh, spotless, and well maintained. It’s clear the housekeeping team takes pride in their work, and it made the space feel even more relaxing and enjoyable.
Breakfast
The breakfast was another highlight—great selection, fresh ingredients, and delicious options across the board. It was the perfect way to start each day.
Overall, I had an excellent experience at the Foshan Marriott and would absolutely stay again.
