We had a great stay at the Hampton Hotel in Xingsha. Ms. Pan, the service manager, was very kind and friendly. She upgraded us to a spacious suite with a comfortable bed, which made our stay even better. The hotel had excellent amenities, and the staff was always helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and relaxing getaway.😃

Impressive!

We checked in late at night and it is important to inform that you will be checking in past midnight or they may release the room if the property is fully booked.
It was very nice to see that the property provides free supper and the staff informed that they can send it up to the room (via the robot).
Room is decent in size, accommodating 2 double beds, one arm chair and a working desk. Bathroom is also decent in size and provides free toiletries (attached to wall). Of course, there are other amenities that you can request if you want. I like that the wardrobe does not have any doors, so you can see and make sure you leave nothing behind.
Breakfast spread is VERY good, extensive options for everyone. There is western, chinese and even a salad bar at the back of the restaurant. I must comment that the soybean runs out fast, so be there early. I stayed for 3 nights, and only managed to get soy bean for 1 morning and it was near bottom. Also, do note, because it's Chinese cuisines, the chinese cooked food can get abit oily and salty, so taste and test first before you take a lot. The steamed ones are better.
Facilities wise, I did not explore much - the computers at the lobby area is VERY slow or was it because I was trying to access gmail. The internet access is almost none for american companies like Google, Facebook and etc. You can surf quickly with baidu tho. I had to hotspot my data to my laptop in order to get work done.
The staff was very helpful, and make good recommendations. They are generally friendly and will help, but speaking in Mandarin helps alot.
Payment wise is guaranteed by a card as I booked thru the Hilton App, however, upon arrival, you will need to have another Visa, Mastercard or Union Pay card. They do not accept Amex.
To be honest, Hampton used to be more of a budget level of stay in US, but in China, I find the service even better than DoubleTree or Hilton in Singapore or Malaysia. It is definitely impressive for my first Hampton stay in China. Do note that Hampton can be priced abit higher than local hotels when booked through other sites. We still chose Hampton cos it's a non-smoking hotel - no smoke in the room vs other local hotels where even it's a non-smoking hotel, the ventilation is so bad, the smoke is 24/7 ard you.
