A Highlight in Belgium!

Aquarand was recommended by friends in Australia who had stayed there, and by our friends in Belgium. It is a beautifully appointed home and includes large reception rooms and a heated pool. Anne was a most friendly and gracious host, as was her husband Guido! An excellent breakfast was available each day. Aquarand is close to many wonderful sights, itself situated beside the river and a well used walking and cycling path. We loved our stay there and will recommend Aquarand to other friends in Australia who wish to visit Belgium.

Super relaxing!

We stay here every year. The owners make us feel like family. We enjoy ending our visit to family in Belgium at this B&B. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is very nice and service is super friendly. We go for relaxing walks along the canal that runs in front of their property.

Fantastic!

Wonderful b&b in a quiet, green area. Huge garden with heated outdoor pool, sauna and outdoor shower. Our room was super cozy and neat. The owners are pleasant and extremely friendly. You can clearly see them shine when their guests are having a good time and they do everything for that! We will definitely go back!

Relaxing weekend

Very friendly, warm people. We immediately felt at ease, very hospitable and clean. Nice base for visits to Mechelen and Leuven. We will definitely come back!

Highly recommended.

When booking by telephone, you immediately feel good because of Ann's friendly explanation. A very friendly welcome upon arrival with all necessary explanations provided. A breakfast is then put together and served at the table. The choice is very wide (lots of bread selection, choice of egg dish, selection of cheese and charcuterie, grains, etc.). So there should be enough choice for everyone. Coffee and tea can be made in the kitchen/breakfast room. There is also a bar with a wide choice. People write down their consumption and this is then settled in the bill. Spacious terrace and very spacious garden with swimming pool. There are also plenty of sun loungers. You will receive the necessary explanation to operate the swimming pool cover. There are 4 rooms. We had the "chestnut" room (probably the smallest) but it was sufficiently spacious. Good bed with small sitting area in the room. Spacious bathroom with toilet and rain shower closed with a door. You will receive a key to the front door and the room. Bicycles can be stored in the garage. Ample parking for the car. Located along the canal, so there is no through traffic. Guarantees complete peace of mind. Along the canal, you can reach the center of Mechelen in 15 minutes by bike. Good starting point for many cycling tours. Rarely have you received such a friendly welcome.
