Night noise

Although it is a very nice hotel, the night noise has prevented us from fully enjoying this accommodation. After talking to night manager, we were advised that it would definitely be quiet at 1am and if this was not the case, we got another room.
We got this other room but I felt that the solution "wait a while and then we will see if the problem is still there" is insufficient and I regret that I paid the full pot for such a bad night's sleep.

Lean breakfast

Breakfast is not worthy of 4 stars. No fresh fruit juice, only apple and orange as fresh fruit juice, little choice toppings. When asked if there was fresh fruit, I was bluntly snubbed that there was fresh fruit. Only the receptionist was the friendliest who helped us.

Very mediocre experience. The “deluxe room” did not have the amenities described in the description; no bath robes, slippers, even not enough toilet paper (when asked for these the night manager didn’t have the key to the stock).
The lobby and the breakfast room were nice but the room itself would need refurbishing.
At the breakfast we were supposed to have a table with our name on it - was not the case.
No croissants at the breakfast.
The location is good right in the centre but the hotel should be way better managed. Now we were left with the feeling that everything was a bit amateurish.

Below what is expected of a 4 star hotel.

Well located, on the other hand the room was not very well cleaned, toothpaste left in the sink, mold in the shower... Room a bit dilapidated, sheets with holes, fluffed top of bed, traces on the walls and ceilings... Breakfast also disappointed us, little choice compared to what we expect from a 4 star. It’s a shame because this hotel has good potential.
