OK for one night. The rooms are in an old stable block that has been converted. There is a small bistro and bar on the ground floor offering basic but good food. Right next door is a park with an arboretum and an old chateau. There is a children's playground and large cafe in the grounds. There is a stud and horse riding club alongside the rooms. The rooms are small and the breakfast area is cramped but you can take your breakfast to your room. There is another restaurant across the road.

I spent the week there on the road for work.
The room was perfect.
Breakfast varied and the coffee was at the top
Bath towels smell great
For the restaurant I put 10⭐️
Warm and kind welcome
Soft meat and excellent sauces
I recommend the gratin
The playlist is top
It’s been a long time since I came across a place like this!
If you are passing through the area, do not hesitate.

Reservation cancelled, no communication with the hotel
A few weeks ago, planning a short stay in Belgium to visit my beautiful family, I asked this hotel by e-mail if it was possible to book, because I had heard that it was under construction and closed for the moment: I had no answer.
More recently, my brother-in-law took a reservation for us, going through the hotel website, and sent us the e-mail asking for payment.
But since this email and the payment interface do not give any information about the content of the reservation, and I like to know what I pay for, I contacted the hotel again by email.
This time I received a terse reply: Hello I check Thank you
Then nothing.
And the next day, my brother-in-law receives a notification that the reservation has been cancelled due to lack of payment!
I immediately contact the hotel, and again, no answer!
I do not know if Micheline Michel, the signatory of the emails is careless, incompetent or does not like French, but in any case we will not go to this hotel.
It’s a shame because otherwise he looks good and we were complimented, but for us the experience is disastrous.

1 l'hôtel est ni fermé ni en travaux
2 je vous ai eus encore au téléphone hier et vous ai expliqué que si votre réservation n'est pas garantie par une carte de crédit le système va l'annuler.
Vous avez reçu 2 mails pour entrer votre carte de crédit et rien !!!
Vous avez dit réserver et connaitre notre cuisinier qui lui ne vous connait pas du tout et tout ceci est quand même très bizarre !!!!!
résultat oui le système a annuler la réservation qui a été faite par téléphone et non par le site internet et ou je vous ai dit encore une fois a la réservation que vous recevrez un lien du système pour entrer une carte de crédit votre réservation est vraiment suspecte.

Comment pouvez vous noter un endroit ou vous n'avez même pas mis les pieds du n'importe quoi

Very bad experience, we went there as part of a wedding and were very poorly received. Terrible manager, don't waste your time with this place if you want to have a good stay.
No organization, instead of being commercial / accommodating, she literally charged us because the check-in had not been carried out (in other words, no room for error, if you want to get turned on you can go there.. .), after making us understand that we were not welcome, we paid for the 4 rooms (the only moment when she said nothing, surprising I might say) and endured comments after comments.
I can still see the poor groom being lit because he simply wanted to change in the toilet, lunatic.
When you're not made for the hotel business you shouldn't open such a place, I've never been so poorly received, but I'm not surprised when I see all the comments about it on the reviews (I told you warned that I would leave you a review, you replied "I don't care... I will respond")
In short, to everyone who reads this comment, save yourself a bad experience, let this oh-so-unpleasant manager damage her own establishment, she wants calm, in my opinion she will have some with this behavior. I strongly advise you to find accommodation a little further away, for the price it's not incredible either, you will find much better elsewhere ;)

Arrivée à 3 h du matin car on a pas envie de faire 200 mètre pour un Check in …. Et oser dire qu’on est désagréable mais si vous désirez j’ai la vidéo de votre agressivité et manque de savoir vivre trop comique d’inverser les rôles merci c’était avec grand plaisir de vous recevoir

GO YOUR WAY!
I had a rather disastrous experience last night in my opinion! As one of the guests at my parents' wedding which was famous next door, we spent the night here.
In the morning, the lady who takes care of receiving customers was unpleasant and attacked me the moment I returned to check out the room because last night we had to call them urgently because we were unfortunately not there. knew that we had to check in before and we thought that the bride and groom had done it for us.
Nothing too serious, solution found.
I arrived to check out and this lady literally attacked me, saying that the rooms were not paid for and that I had to pay for everything immediately. I hear his dissatisfaction, however, the way of speaking to people was not there at all! So I made adjustments to calm the situation and this woman continued to rant and verbally attack us throughout.
I suggested that the coffee wasn't really well marked as we didn't have any. She told me that you had to look and open your eyes that it was in a box, I only found some th.
She also sent another guest over because he wanted to have breakfast, she also had the coffee paid for.
The groom just wanted to change before the reception in the toilets, she attacked him and sent him to leave!! Saying that no one did that here was nonsense
Our reception was magnificent but if you want to sleep well and have service worthy of the name: GO YOUR WAY, friendliness and kindness are not qualities that managers advocate despite being in the business.
I say it again: GO YOUR WAY!
