We had a bit of an unusual arrangement and initial miscommunication was very much due to the third party website used for the initial booking. However the staff themselves were brilliant in helping us resolve the matter and looking after us once we were there. We also arrived in the middle of a heat-wave and the hotel made sure we were looked after and managed to source extra fans to ensure we were comfortable. Breakfast was very good value we felt and very convenient to ensure that we could maximise the short time we had in Vienna for sight seeing. Would highly recommend the hotel for a weekend break and we are already thinking of returning in the autumn.

dangerous and bad hotel !!!!

This hotel has 4 stars on booking.com. We hated it. We were assigned room 510, on the 5th and highest floor. Lift goes up to 4th floor, so continue with the stairs. This room was decrepit. Sliding glass door of the cabinet was not moving; lamps without fixture on ceiling (only the light bulbs) Tipping windows (kind of velux skylights) were almost inoperable. Bed tray rickety; plasterwork of walls broken; and much more misery. During our stay in Vienna we had beautiful; sunny and warm weather. Then you can't stand it in the room. Roofing is made of metal so in the room lukewarm and no arco!!
The situation is dangerous in the event of a fire. Escape route only via staircase, while lower floors have another escape route. Room was provided with five .. 5! smoke detectors. That might be saying something!
advice: if you want to book a room in this hotel, at least avoid room 510!!!!!

Terribly bad!

Terribly bad!
We had a small room - despite the family room. No air conditioning, big windows where the sun was on from just before lunch until it went down. It was 35 degrees outside and at least 50 degrees in the room - so it was not possible to be there and sleeping was impossible…. No interest or service from the staff - who were barely on site. We found little bugs on the floor. After 4 nights we gave up and changed hotel. Would never ever recommend anyone this hotel! Terrible in every way.

Many problems

That was the first time I was bitten by bed bugs. In the morning, the trash was loudly thrown out under my window. In the bathroom, there is a door that leads to nowhere. There are many reports of hotel robberies where people were kidnapped, so be careful! The code for the hotel was the same as for my room. I did not have a good feeling that my things were safe.
