Amazing Hosts
Very comfortable place to stay with great support staff. This farmhouse is almost 100 years old and have gone multiple transitions over a period of time. It is a mix of traditional and modern hospitality- traditional hospitality practices with all modern amenities. There is no dearth of parking space. Ideal to travel with kids as well as elderly parents to establish a direct connection with nature. Stayed here for 2 nights and the hosts made our stay really memorable with their personalised services.

Food is ok. It far from the motorway.
We stopped here over night on the camper stop location. The camper stop is free but you have to visit the guest house for a refreshment. We didn't realise that refreshment meant a whole meal! Food is good and the beer is not to bad. We have had better. The camper stop does have free water, the electricity is free as well as you have eaten in the restaurant. Inside the guest house is a typical Austrian guest house and everywhere is very clean including the toilets. It seems a popular place, and you get a fair size portion for your meal. You also get free use of the leisure activities at the guest house should you want to.

Great for big groups
This location was great and very economical specially for larger groups. Rooms were very clean. Would suggest only when you have a private vehicle to commute. See is also very near to location by car and there fore a very nice place to relax and spend time on outskirts of main cities like Salzburg.

for one night ok
pension with the charm of the 70,is ... means rooms outdated but good for one night restauranr with good homemade meals and prices like 20 years ago. owner have a special austrian charm but seams to be a honest guy.

Good location, pretty traditional. Really 3 1/2 stars. Good.
This property is a half or full pension hotel.****Really 3 1/2 stars instead of 3 or 4***
It is more than average, however just below very good. It is Good
It is like the ones I used to stay in as a kid when we went on holiday in Germany.
Family run, clean, home cooking style good food. Everything is well priced, nothing is really over-priced.
We just booked it via Expedia, as we changed our plans and wanted something located near Salzburg and some other places we ended up visiting. (Salzburg is about 30 minutes, the Salzburg Salt mines in Hallstein about 50 minutes).
The room, was as expected. Clean and functional. The mattress not that comfortable. Shower and toilet all very clean, however it still has its original décor.
Again, this is a family run pension and I fully expected it to be as much. The one thing I did not like was the bed. I am 6’4” and it was pretty uncomfortable.
The shower had no supplies, except 1 small bar of soap, so be ready to bring your own shampoo, conditioner etc.
TV selection was good.
Very fast internet. Free and very good coverage.
Cash or Credit cards, all accepted.
Windows open wide. (Be ready to hear the rooster at sun rise.)
I conversed in German with owner, however he seems to do just as well in English.
Very organized. Old style key locks with the big hanger. They did not ask for them when leaving the property, however they will charge you 40 euro if you lose the keys
Breakfast was included and was a pretty traditional set up.
Dinner; food was home cooked style, tasty (may be a bit over seasoned, however after a few good beers, oh well). As mentioned before, it all is very reasonable priced. They also seem to have different specials every night.
The hotel is located in a small town where there is nothing to do, except walk or bike. It is next to the highway and it will take you about 8 or 9 minutes to get on it. So a good location to go exploring. If possible ask for a room in the front of the property otherwise you will hear the highway in the back when you open the windows.
They have some fun things to do for kids, so if you have some younger ones with you, they should be able to enjoy themselves for a while.
