Great service, very welcoming.
Three of us on motorbikes stopped here for the night whilst travelling across Europe. Although we were early for the check-in time, the staff were happy to get us in as the rooms were ready. We were fortunate enough to be able to use the secure parking.
The location of the hotel is on an out of town retail and business area so wouldn't ordinarily be visited by people who were on a lengthy holiday although having said that, the price and the facilities are excellent giving value for money with great service if the hotel is used as a base to explore the wider area.
We had a problem getting the TV in one of the rooms to work. We mentioned this to reception and they had it fixed in about five minutes.
There was a bar nearby where we able to relax and also undertook some retail therapy nearby.
In the evening we ate at the San Marco Restaurant and enjoyed a fabulous meal of generous proportions and again great value for money.
Overall, all three of would recommend this hotel particularly for short stays including making use of the restaurant. Great service throughout.
In addition, when we departed, the staff gave us a wonderful send off and wished us luck on our adventures.

The hotel's restaurant is highly recommended, friendly service, good food, fair prices
Hotel and restaurant are close to the motorway and therefore easily accessible.
We had a very good meal in the restaurant, with friendly service and at fair prices.
We can't give any information about the hotel as we only went to the restaurant. But the restaurant should definitely be listed on TripAdvisor.

The stay was mostly OK, but there are a few issues.
The hotel keeps mentioning again and again soundproofing in the description of the rooms and amenities, which is one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Unfortunately I found no proof whatsoever that this claimed "soundproofing" actually exists.
Both the noise from the nearby road, which has a lot of traffic even at night, and from the neighboring rooms was quite high. I could clearly hear the cars passing on the road, and the neighbors talking in the adiacent room.
Then there was the furniture. The rooms have ceramic hard floors, and they didn't even bother to "soundproof" the chairs, they didn't put any pads on their legs to stop them from making horrible noise when being dragged across the floor.
I couldn't sleep because the neighbors kept dragging the chairs in their room late in the evening and, as mentioned above, I could also clearly hear them talking. If I knew their language I could probably even understand what they were saying.
Other than that, they mentioned in the room amenities a phone and an alarm clock. There were no such things. But I didn't need them, so it wasn't a big deal.
On the bright side, there was no mention of air conditioning being available, but the room did actually have air conditioning, which I didn't expect.
They should really remove the "soundproofing" from the list of amenities they claim to have, and add "air conditioning" to the list.

Hidden fee for cleaning 40 Euro
We booked this hotel 2 standard rooms for a night through Booking.com not knowing they have policy if you booked after 8 pm your booking for tonight will be the next night. For my hundred trips experience, no hotel on earth doing this confused policy. That’s what happened to us. After we negotiated with receptionist, she managed to get us the room, which was an apartment type that comes with extra 10 euro cleaning fee. The room price was still the same as 2 standard rooms. Next morning, we had an extra charge 40 euro for cleaning fee. However, they should states clearly on booking sites about booking after 8pm. Otherwise we would book another hotel. Not sure

Average italian hotel (definitely not 4 star! )
If you've ever been to Italy and like the hotels there, you will like San Marco in Lannach Austria too.
I found this hotel is being advertised as 4 star, but rather it definitely deserves a 3 star rating only. So dont expect 4 star quality and service.
Pros:
Friendly and helpful staff
Cleanliness
Tasty breakfast buffet
Not crowded with tourists (thanks to being far away from Graz :)
Cons:
-Far away to Graz, so don't stay here if you have to commute to Graz, bad idea.
-Wifi signal is very unstable if you have to finish work project in the evening, forget it.
-Tiles on the floor without carpets are not a good choice to cold Austria, it is cold and it looks really bad.
- Bed matress is very uncomfortable
- Rooms facing the backyard are pretty dark during the day
- Busy street with traffic jams during the peak times
- Plastic windows really need renovation, once you open the window it can be closed with a lot of effort only.
