A very modern hotel in the outskirts of Bregenz

Am See seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Located in Uferstrasse in Hard am Bodensee, there are no other hotels nearby. But – it’s a short walk to the lake Bodensee (or Constance) which has a fine lake promenade. We walked at around 8:45 pm and there were still other lake strollers and bench sitters around. A walk in the reverse direction takes you to the main road where the bus passes, and where several restaurants are located. Actually, right beside the hotel is a restaurant - we presume they're partners with the Am See.
The reception staff are very friendly and obviously committed to their work.
The rooms are huge and very modern. There is a two-seater sofa, a work desk with a bench chair, and a one seater cushioned chair. There is a tiny balcony with table and two chairs but unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy it. One wall had floor to ceiling glass windows (with the glass door that leads to the balcony).
At breakfast, food variety was very good. And they kept offering additional new snacks from the kitchen to the guests!

Air Conditioning not working 32 degrees!

Hotel ok but room air con not working. Given a fan but of little use so spoilt the whole experience

-Fine. Central. Quiet location. Sensational breakfast!!!

Very nice hotel ! Great location. With the CityRoller just a few minutes from the lake. Small but fine balcony! Parking spaces in underground garage ample available.
Very friendly & courteous staff! Green space / garden of the hotel lovingly laid out idyllic.
Breakfast was really sensational! Quality top. Lots of homemade treats.
Various juices, cereals, fresh and dried fruits , various small rolls (wheat, whole grain, alkalis, grains,....) Cheese as well as cold cuts, scrambled eggs, pastries like small tarts and much, much more!!!! --> everything your heart desires!!!!
Again and again, the staff handed out additional small treats that were brought directly to the table (salmon, freshly squeezed juices such as carrot pear juice).
Something for every taste - gladly again!

Very nice hotel

We have visited this Hotel the last 3 years - and we love it.
The staff are professionel and the hotel is very close to the see.
The restaurant close to the hotel Gasthaus Kath’r is fantastic. Book a table in advance.

Modern hotel with a great breakfast

We stayed here when we visited the Bregenzer Festspiele, and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Our room was clean and bright, with a modern bathroom separated from the bedroom by frosted glass doors. The bed was comfortable and the room well soundproofed. We were delighted by the variety of the breakfast buffet: everything was fresh and of excellent quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bus ride to the Festival was an acceptable 15-20 minutes.
