Centrally located, clean motel

We booked the Toukley Motel for a central location and it was perfect. Quick drive into The Entrance and Norah Head. The motel is easy to find on the main road with car parking out the front of your room. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable with all the amenities you’d expect: tea and coffee, kettle, cups, wine glasses, milk, toiletries, spare blankets and pillow. Do not be deceived by the older looking air conditioner, it works a treat in the hotter weather. Would definitely book the Toukley Motel again.

Disgusting

The room smelt of smoke. Cutlery was filthy. Coffee was still in a cup. No proper sheets on the bed. And a meth spoon was wrapped up in the blanket. So clearly it didn’t get cleaned properly. Disgusting.

A basic motel

This is advertised as a 3 star place and it is. It was clean and quiet. It had everything I needed. Good value for money. Bed was comfy. Neighbourhood visiting cat was sweet. The driveway was a little hard to spot and get into.

Would like to give a 3.5 stars. Manager friendly and helpful. Room clean, but basic. Kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits, and microwave supplied. TV with Netflix and YouTube. Air-conditioned. Beds comfortable. Good parking. Motel in a handy location to shops, clubs, pubs, leave car and walk. A short drive from the motel to beaches, tourist attractions. Overall, an adequate motel for the budget conscious traveller.

an Average Motel

We stayed at this Motel recently... The Manager is lovely and friendly. The room was tidy but there was a bit of a smell in the carpet and curtain from perhaps a previous smoker? The shower was good but it took a while to get it hot. The bed had springs that went "boing" when we moved around on it.
