I had a lovely stay. Not sure it would suit a light sleeper, but it wasn’t a problem for me.

Nice cosy hotel , short walk down to coles supermarket. Then across the Pyrmont foot bridge to kings wharf.
Cargo Bar good vibes and meals . Take a cruise or jump on a ferry. Locations good short uber ride to airport.
Nice cafe directly opposite the terminus hotel for breakfast.

A good budget option close to Darling Harbour, a long walk (or short ride) to Circular Quay area. Small room and shared bathrooms of high quality. Bar, and thereby reception, have limited opening hours and are closed on public holidays. Self check-in works fine. A bit noisy in late evenings due to the bar in the backyard, our window faced this side.

The place wasn't very nice, it felt like a bit of a dodgy brothal to be honest. The shared bathrooms weren't very clean either.
The room smelt dense and moist inside. I checked out a day earlier and went to a better hotel.

Maybe to people like students is good place but not to me, to auto service and to take tea or coffee is to go to another floor with so many stairs very difficult to go and dangerous with hot coffee or hot tea, first day I can’t to take shower because not hot water and they repair very soon, the room need to clean better, dirty down the bed and lump dust.
