Great value for money, my room was clean and tidy and my bed was lovely and soft. But I did notice black mould in areas of the room and in the shower..

Budget shouldn’t mean dirty and noisy

We only needed a bed for two nights - so three star should have sufficed, but a good night sleep was not possible in a twin single room at I is Budget St Peters. Too late I found out that the lower numbered rooms on each floor (201-approx 209 and 301- approx 309) are the only twin single rooms and all are directly along the Princess Highway, so are extremely noisy all day and night. The whole hotel is directly under a flight path, so that noise is consistent in every room, but thankfully by Australian law, scheduled flights at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport are prohibited between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Although the quieter King rooms are further away from the highway (approx 210, 310 and above) can be separated easily into twin singles, management refused to do this, despite my requesting a quiet room.
The toilet/bathroom smelt very, very bad in room 306 and the mattresses, mattress covers, duvet and pillows were soiled with old blood stains and other miscellaneous yellow and brown stains that appeared to be improperly cleaned bodily fluids.
After toileting, hands can only be washed in the bedroom sink where the tap was extremely noisy. In the ‘bathroom’ (shower room/toilet) the shower has no curtain and nowhere to put clothing so everything must sit on top of the toilet where it gets wet from the leaky shower rose shooting across the room.
Budget shouldn’t mean dirty and noisy, but sadly the Ibis Budget St Peters, should be renamed ‘Ibis Dirty and Noisy, St Peter’s. A shame to the Accor group. I wish Premier Inn had an offering in the area. They are a similar price point for clean, quiet rooms and a good night sleep. Won’t return.

Location wise is ok. Not to many dining options unless you like fast food.
Parking was $10 per night. With the cost of this basic accomodation, parking should be free.
The shower was terrible. Room was very basic but clean.
Check in host was very helpful.

Worst Hotel Experience – Dirty, Noisy & Poor Service

Absolutely terrible experience at Ibis Budget St Peters. The room was not clean, the bed smelled, and the overall condition was very disappointing. The hotel was extremely noisy—you could hear everything from outside, including neighbours, doors constantly shutting, and people moving around.
The tap was also making noise and leaking, which was extremely annoying throughout the stay. There is no lift, parking costs extra, and even when I asked for one extra towel, they wouldn’t provide it.
The staff were not friendly or helpful at all. For the price, the basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, comfort and customer service were completely unacceptable. I would definitely not recommend this place and will never stay here again.

Beautifully basic, only issue is the hallway stunk of weed. Otherwise, close to the airport and basic just what you need for one sleep.
