Plenty of parking out the back and secure. Beware it is a pub so Friday and Saturday night is very loud with the live music and rooms are not sound proof. Room was big with 2 double beds but bathroom facilities are shared

The chicken wings were so good and check in was smooth and easy. Weekend nights might want to bring a pair of shower shoes for the shared men's room.

This pub was a great surprise on account of price, value and experience. Staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Food facilities and value-again excellent pub style. Thanks to the Chef who took the trouble to make a real bearnaise sauce rather than those imposter sauces from a jar. Upstairs accom has been extensively refurbished to a generally high standard but retains much of its old world character with polished wooden floors, nomadic hallway carpet runners, muted colours throughout. Room was simple but had everything again beautifully and carefully presented with comp toiletries and tea making kit. Shared bathroom facilities of a high renovated standard. One or two small maintenance issues here guys but otherwise great. And let's not forget the $6 happy hour beers and wines! Great job all in all and would definitely book again and recommend. Room tariff is a bargain in these inflationary times.

3 night stay

Good price for 3 night stay. Family room was large, clean and serviced daily. Staff were friendly and professional. Great food and service from the restaurant. Good secure parking at the back of the building. Stayed over the long weekend and nil issues. Good live music and cut out on time, nil rowdy patrons. Location was very convenient. Only disappointment was no drinking water available in room but we purchased daily with breakfast from a wonderful bakery across the street.
